This brings the release-1.6 branch up to the commit before we merged the 1.7 docs:
This includes all the changes made to the
masterdocs since the 1.6 release.Which should fix the installation version numbers in the 1.6 documentation which currently refer to 1.5 versions.
I'll do a followup PR to increment the patch numbers for 1.5 and 1.6.
