This SGTM. I guess we'll start cutting pre-releases of v1.7 in early January/late December (holidays/vacations permitting)?

Yeah, early Jan: the notes have the timeline which we discussed yesterday:

Alpha release on 5th January,
Beta on Wed 19th January,
Final release on 26th January.
