Breaking

• Elements are a little different than content (although they are near identical,) most of the differences are at an API/Service level, so they shouldn't change things if you are just using uSync, but base services around content have changed to accommodate this - so if you re-use any bits of uSync in your own code you might get breaking changes.
• Umbraco has moved from swagger to Microsoft's OpenApi libraries (and to v3.x of the OpenAPI Schemas). this does change a couple of things around how the management API for usync presents itself, and the naming of some of the services. we have updated the code here for this - these changes will break anyone's use of the management API- there are long and complex reasons why we are not offering a backwards compatible API at this level , many of them are not technical, if you catch me in a conference bar one day i might tell you them (and then you will probably slowly back away)

Umbraco v18 is a STS release, and has a shorter support lifecycle, we support uSync on this version until the next one is released (and after that will only do security updates) - you probibly shouldn't go to a STS release unless you are prepared and can upgrade your site every six months.
