New executor overrides can bypass the shared recovery chain without declaring how their actual payload is recovered. Document that responsibility on BaseExecutor.execute and add a unit guard for newly introduced overrides.

The guard accepts proven trivial delegation to an imported base class, or an explicit custom/native contract with a reason and an existing behavioral test path. Ambiguous nested bindings require an explicit declaration. A snapshot of 71 legacy identities from 268 TypeScript files at 122b43b35dbacab03ea67d0f0b46e713280ccd86 bounds new enforcement; it does not certify legacy behavior.

The 15-line base change is JSDoc only: normalized AST and emitted JavaScript remain identical. No runtime helpers, CI configuration, timeouts or quality baselines change. Tags and a test path declare responsibility; behavioral tests remain necessary to establish payload and transport correctness.

Refs #14629. This is the preventive-contract slice alongside #16133, #16135, #16136 and #16137; no individual slice should close the umbrella before cumulative acceptance and integration.

Validation

  • The binding regression was reproduced before correction: 30 passed / 3 failed → 33/33 passed, with byte-identical fixtures.
  • Final mutation controls use the same 33 fixtures: normal 33/33; removed policy 23 failures; helper-name shortcut 1 failure; class-name-only legacy exemption 1 failure; removed lexical restriction 3 failures.
  • Two related AST regression files: 6/6 passed. Focused TypeScript, ESLint, Prettier, file-size, test discovery and changelog checks passed. The base file remains inside its existing 1760-line ceiling.
  • The first historical no-op run had 20 failures; two fixture newlines were subsequently corrected for JSDoc attachment. It is not presented as the same-fixture RED/GREEN pair. Failed intermediate attempts are retained in the evidence.
  • Independent SPEC/Standards review found and then verified the binding correction; no remaining blockers.
  • Node24.21.0; synthetic HOME/DATA_DIR/plugin/cache/temp directories; no application imports or live account access, zero attempted external connections.

CI and cumulative integration remain separate acceptance steps.

General gates on the reviewed manifest: core/dashboard typechecks and both full complexity ratchets passed. The tested checkout remains based on122b43; the remote release subsequently advanced to9362ed. CI on that merge target is a separate check.

base.ts is frozen at its tip size in file-size-baseline.json, so the 15-line
JSDoc above BaseExecutor.execute() moves to open-sse/executors/base/recoveryContract.ts,
which also exports the tag names and modes the AST guard now reads (and the
guard's failure message points at the contract module). Refs #14629.
