Description
DbtAwsEksBaseOperator.execute()callsEksHook.generate_config_file()with two arguments (eks_cluster_name,pod_namespace). Starting inapache-airflow-providers-amazon9.13.0 (apache/airflow#55195), this method requires a third positional argumentcredentials_file, causing all Cosmos EKS operators to fail with:This PR adds runtime detection via
hasattr(eks_hook, "_secure_credential_context")to branch between the new and legacy call patterns, maintaining backward compatibility with provider versions< 9.13.0.Note on private API usage: The new code path calls
EksHook._secure_credential_context(), which is a private method in the Amazon provider. The upstreamEksPodOperatorrelies on the same method (source), so it's effectively a stable internal API. If the Amazon provider exposes a public equivalent in the future, this code should be updated to use it instead.Related Issue(s)
