• John D presented slides that describe the thinking/design work that he and Ralph C worked on in December

• Ralph C implemented the designs in PMIx server and John testing with TV

• Flexibility is going to be key in ensuring we can support different resource manager capabilities

  • We could potentially use MPI Info keys and be careful in how we define them to be as general as possible
  • Allow specific keys when needed (e.g., SLURM:slurm-key, or PMIx:pmix-key)
