@roomote-agent This new setting doesn't seem to be connected anywhere, when the tool is off it should be removed from the system prompt completely as to not confuse the models, can you check where it needs to be removed from (search for the specific name of the tool)

Hi @daniel-lxs! I see the issue - the todo list tool setting checkbox was added to the UI but not connected to the system prompt generation. I'll search for where the todo list tool is referenced in the system prompt and implement the logic to remove it when the setting is disabled. Working on this now!

✅ @daniel-lxs I've successfully implemented the connection between the todoListEnabled setting and the system prompt!

Changes made:

1. Modified src/core/prompts/tools/index.ts: Added logic to conditionally exclude the update_todo_list tool from the system prompt when settings.todoListEnabled is false

2. Updated src/core/prompts/sections/custom-instructions.ts: Added filtering logic to remove references to the todo list tool from mode custom instructions when the setting is disabled

3. Updated src/core/prompts/system.ts: Passed the settings parameter through to the addCustomInstructions function

4. Added comprehensive tests: Created test cases to verify that:

   • The tool is excluded when todoListEnabled is false
   • The tool is included when todoListEnabled is true
   • The tool is included by default when todoListEnabled is undefined

The implementation ensures that when the todo list tool is disabled in the provider settings, it will be completely removed from the system prompt to avoid confusing the models.

All tests are passing and the changes have been pushed to this PR! 🎉
