Why: Because it's unused.
Personal key fields are rendered in three places, none of which use this logic:
validated_form_for, and thereforeform-validation.jsis not loaded at all.validated_form_for, but because it has nopatternattribute, it would never fail thepatternMismatchvalidation.In all of these cases, we should plan to move toward
ValidatedFieldComponentanyways.
