Device activation

Ways to activate:

  1. Android/iPhone Syncloud app should be able to discover you device if it is connected to the same wifi network.

  2. Browser activation is an alternative way by looking up IP of your device on your router page and using it to open this url in your browser: https://[device ip].

You will need an account at https://syncloud.it for our domain name or you can use your own domain name.

Also you will need to assign your device credentials to secure your device.

If none of this works, you need to check network connection or correctness of image.

Forgot device password

There are two options to reset the device:

  1. Deactivate the device by removing the following file on the main disk:
rm /var/snap/platform/current/platform.db

This will reset device status and you can activate it again (just open IP in a browser)

On Windows you may try these tools to mount the disk:

  1. Rewrite the device image again.
