Software
The following image shows the software components required to run Peppy player. Three base layers come with Raspbian. Top two layers should be installed manually.
The details about installation and configuration of each software component will be discussed in the corresponding chapters:
Here are the main Software Tools which were used for Peppy player development:

Visual Studio Code. This is probably the most popular IDE right now.

Python extension for Visual Studio Code. This is Python extension/plugin for VS Code.

PuTTY. This software was used to connect to the Raspberry Pi 2 through SSH.

WinSCP. This program was necessary to copy files from Windows machine to Raspberry Pi 2.

Win32 Disk Imager. The Raspbian OS image was placed to SD card using this program.
