If the user switches from thread A to B while launched.result is pending, the script command is written to B’s terminal session using A’s targetTerminalId; a matching ID in B can execute the command in the wrong workspace. writeToTerminal uses the latest thread context, so preserve the thread reference used to launch the terminal when writing.

writeToTerminalis exported throughuseStableCallback, so it resolvesthreadReffrom the latest render rather than the thread whose terminal was opened.ChatView.runProjectScriptawaitslaunched.resultbefore calling this method. If the user navigates from server thread A to B during that await,ThreadRouteViewreuses the unkeyed ChatView instance, and the script command is sent to B with A's terminal ID. IDs such asterm-1are reused per thread; the server'sterminal/Manager.tswrite implementation looks up precisely the supplied thread/terminal pair and writes the bytes. Consequently a script can execute in another project's existing shell (or fail instead of running in A). Preserve the launch's scoped target for the subsequent write rather than using the latest thread.

After confirming a close requested for thread A, the code can close the matching terminal in thread B while removing A’s terminal from the drawer. The confirmed callback retains A’s activeThreadRef for storeCloseTerminal, but terminalActions.closeTerminalSession resolves the latest thread and closes it with deleteHistory: true; bind both operations to the thread whose terminal was confirmed.

Its scope is broader than a mechanical refactor, and unresolved High-severity findings describe risks around commands or closes targeting a newly selected thread. Needs human approval because:

Preserve the thread reference for delayed terminal closes.
A terminal close confirmation can resolve after the user switches threads. The retained cleanup callback uses the old activeThreadRef, but terminalActions.closeTerminalSession is a stable callback that invokes the latest hook closure. The close request can therefore use the new thread and environment with the old terminal ID. The old session can remain running, or a same-ID session in the new thread can be closed.
Pass the target thread reference to the close action and use it for both the close and fallback write.

The drawer, the right panel terminal tabs, the drawer toggle and script runs each built the terminal open input, allocated an id and handled the close fallback on their own. useThreadTerminalActions now owns id allocation, the default cwd and runtime env, and close-with-exit-fallback. Panel terminal close now also falls back to typing `exit` when the close command fails, like the drawer already did. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

Part of the ChatView split so the React Compiler can compile it.
Problem. Opening a terminal was written out five times: the drawer's split/new buttons, the drawer toggle, script runs, and the right panel's add/split. Closing was written out three times. Every copy built the open input, allocated an id and set up the runtime env by hand. The panel close copy had no
