What does this PR do?
Fixes #46530.
bun check1.4.4 reports a false TS2322 for XState'ssnapshot.matches({ reviewingHits: "batch" })when the machine type depends on a type parameter.tscand Bun 1.4.3 report nothing. The problem
initialwas then an excess property of{ states: infer S }, and the conditional type took its false branch. What changed
The instantiation target of a widened literal is now the widened target.
tscinstantiates the widened type, so the result is the same. This is one commit from #46383, taken out so that it can land alone.
How did you verify your code works?
tsc7.0.2.test/cli/check/check.test.tspasses on this branch. Its expected output is the output oftsc7.0.2 for the same file. Bun 1.4.4 prints different errors for that file.check.test.ts, 9 tests fail on my local debug build. 7 time out at 5 seconds, 1 needs a package that is not installed here, and 1 runs out of stack. The last one fails the same way without this change. I did not check the others against a build without this change.
