Changes look good, but I'm unsure about the backporting. Did these OAS docs exist in 8.8?
In versions < 8.15 we published older API docs and didn't link to the OpenAPI specs so I suspect you'll need to do a separate PR to the 8.14 and older 8.x branches to update docs like https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/kibana/8.14/saved-objects-api-import.html

Overall LGTM, I wonder if we should include removal of the message from the "resolve import errors" API

This PR makes me wonder if we're close to the point where we can start generating the saved object API docs automatically rather than maintaining these manual files.
For the purposes of this PR, however, LGTM
