chore(dashboard): sync the UI kit to 0.0.95 and use its warning Button, Badge tones and NativeSelect - #19137
Syncs the vendored UI kit to 0.0.95 (e53752f) and moves three local extensions onto it, from the upstream table in #19066.
Button variant="warning" is the kit warning button. .ci-button--warning leaves globals.css. On hover it now fills with the warning ink, like destructive.
Badge status variants are kit tones on the borderless secondary badge. .ci-badge[data-tone] and its dark override leave globals.css. primary maps to the kit accent tone, so the light ink changes from near-black to the accent ink. All tones hold 4.5:1 on every content surface in the four looks.
Select with <option> children renders the kit NativeSelect. .ci-select-native* leaves globals.css.
selectClassName lands on the wrapper, which sets the width and the type of the <select>.
New nativeSize prop sets the height without compact's one-line layout.
The Pool schedule rows move from 28 px to the kit xs height (32 px) with 12 px text, inputs included.
The combos list drops border and padding utilities that would have drawn a second box around the kit control.
Tests
tests/unit/design-kit-bridge.test.ts: the kit provides the rules and globals.css has no local copy.
tests/unit/editions-warning-ink-contrast.test.ts, tests/unit/ui/rtl-logical-classes.test.tsx: same contracts, now read from the kit stylesheet.
tests/unit/ui/adapters/{badge,select}.test.tsx, tests/unit/ui/flow-routing-kit-controls.test.tsx: aligned to the kit classes and data-* attributes.
tests/unit/dashboard-kit-sweep.test.ts: Select.tsx no longer needs its raw <select> exemption.

Add a thin FileInput/FileDropZone adapter (src/shared/components/FileInput.tsx)
over @omniroute/ui-kit/file-input that fills the kit's English text defaults
(choose, empty, selected-count, drop labels) from new common.* keys, and use it
where the dashboard carried a raw file input whose kit-exception said the kit
had none:
- batch UploadFileModal and wizard InputStep drop zones -> FileDropZone (same
accept, 512 MB limit, error banner, single-file pick, disabled while reading;
InputStep keeps its soft extension check)
- ProviderTransferPanel, RtkTomlImportCard, the Omni Skills install modal ->
FileInput (visible picker with a status line)
EvalsTab, ComboHeaderActions and MemoriesTab keep their hidden picker behind a
toolbar button (the pick imports at once, and a status line would break the
action row); their kit-exception now states that reason.
Refs #19066
Toggle maps size xs/sm to the kit Switch size="sm" and md/lg to the default,
and CatalogKeyAccessButton passes size="sm" to its kit Switch. The kit (0.0.89)
already stretches the native input over the control for every size and dims a
bare disabled switch, so the OmniRoute .ci-switch--compact rules, the "Kit
Switch hit target" block in globals.css and the opacity-50 workarounds go.
The kit sm track is 33x18px (the old compact one was 36x20px).
Refs #19066
The six common.fileInput*/fileDrop* keys the FileInput adapter added reached
only en, pt-BR and vi, so the new-key coverage and key completeness gates
(i18n UI Coverage) would fail. Translated with scripts/i18n/translate-new-keys.sh
for the other 64 locales and inserted next to the English position, without
the key reordering a full sync applies; no other key changes.
Refs #19066
…n, Badge tones and NativeSelect
Removes the local .ci-button--warning, .ci-badge[data-tone] and
.ci-select-native rules from globals.css. Native Select callers keep their
size through nativeSize, and the Pool schedule rows move to the kit xs height.

Summary by CodeRabbit
New Features
Added support for warning buttons and multiple badge tones, including accent, success, and danger.
Added reusable keyboard-key and loading-spinner components, plus a native select with size and validation states.
Updates
Updated buttons, badges, and native dropdowns to use the shared UI kit, providing consistent styling across the dashboard.
Refined compact schedule controls with slightly larger text and height.
The vendored UI Kit advances to 0.0.95 with new component APIs and styles. Shared Button, Badge, and Select adapters now use kit variants and controls. Dashboard selects use the kit’s size prop, and local extension styles are removed.
Changes: UI Kit update
Layer / File(s)
Summary
Kit APIs, components, and styles packages/ui-kit/*
The snapshot advances to 0.0.95. The kit adds warning Button and Badge tone APIs, NativeSelect, Kbd and KbdGroup, and Spinner. Its exports, tokens, and styles support these components. The Button spinner uses the shared SpinnerGraphic.
Adapter migration
Layer / File(s)
Summary
Shared adapters and dashboard controls src/shared/components/*, src/app/(dashboard)/*, src/app/globals.css
The Button adapter uses the kit’s warning variant. Badge adapters use secondary variants with kit tones, and primary maps to accent. The native-options branch of Select uses kit NativeSelect and accepts nativeSize; dashboard selects pass explicit native sizes. Local warning, badge-tone, and native-select rules are removed.
Validation and documentation tests/unit/*, docs/architecture/DESIGN_SYSTEM.md, changelog.d/maintenance/*
Tests check the kit selectors, variants, tones, and tokens, and the dashboard scan no longer exempts Select.tsx. The design-system documentation and changelog describe the kit-based adapters.
cheaper-inference/OmniRoute#19094 — It migrates dashboard badges to kit tone semantics, which this change also adds to the shared Badge adapter.
cheaper-inference/OmniRoute#18945 — It adds a local warning-ink override; this change removes local warning styles in favor of kit tokens.
Merge Risk: Minimal · previous review aa2e6
Native multi-selects gain a decorative chevron, but no merge-blocking risk is identified.
Security architecture risk: Minimal · up to aa2e6
The reviewed changes centralize shared control presentation without changing form values, event handling, disabled-state enforcement, or dashboard update handlers. No material security risk was found in the changed contracts.
Retained concerns
No architecture-level concerns identified.
Security review details
Security Blast Radius
inferred — The reviewed propagation scope is shared browser-control presentation across dashboard consumers, including compression settings and quota-share policy editors. Their existing sensitivity does not become additional authority through this PR: the inspected changes preserve the values, handlers, and native enforcement that connect these controls to updates.
Trust Boundaries and Controls
observed — Badge’s new tone reaches class names and data-tone attributes; its existing asChild cloning behavior is otherwise preserved. NativeSelect keeps disabled and required on the actual select. These changes do not replace server authorization with a new client-side control.
Resilience and Maintainability Implications
observed — The Button adapter still disables its control while loading, and the kit’s native-button inactive-state calculation is unchanged. Extracting the spinner graphic and adding the warning variant therefore do not introduce a new repeated-submission window through this control.
