alehar9320 wants to merge 2 commits into
Conversation
Improve accessibility and focus states for dynamically generated release links on the What's New page. Adds target="_blank", rel="noopener noreferrer", and context-rich aria-labels to release links, and styles focus-visible states with standardized 2px accent outlines and 4px offset. Copy-only review. The CSS and rel/target are out of my lane. The new strings are the aria-labels.
They read fine, but they hide the visible link text from assistive tech. Put the version in the visible label and skip aria-label unless it adds something the text does not already say.
Update visible release link text to `View ${release.version} on GitHub` and
remove redundant aria-labels as requested in code review. Ensures consistent
and accessible link text for all visitors without redundant ARIA overrides.

Make the release-link selectors global.
The scoped <style> block does not match anchors created with document.createElement('a'). Apply :global(...) to both selector groups so hover and :focus-visible styles work in populated and unavailable states.

Not merging. Jules Palette original. Aria keep-with-cut lives in Dan’s clean PR #628 (visible View {version} on GitHub + focus-visible; no target=_blank, no .Jules/palette.md). Do not merge this branch. |
Understood. Acknowledging that this branch is not being merged and stopping work on this task. |
Enhance accessibility, security, and focus states for dynamic release links on the What's New page (
