@jules Closing unmerged (owner HARD ABORT). Please stop this task and do not restack it.

This is the same inert-pill hover class we have already closed many times (#1568, #1541, #1500, #1476, #1465, #1440, #1393, #1176; gradient sibling #1115). Why it does not ship:

• Fake affordance: Pill is a non-interactive <div>. A hover shimmer on something you cannot click tells visitors it does something when it does not. It adds no value for a visitor evaluating Alexander as a DevEx PM.
• Flag churn: another enable_pill_*_v1 flag defaulted on, plus a new getEntry('flags') read in every Pill render, for pure decoration.
• Backdated log: the .Jules/Aurora/delights.md row is dated 2026-06-11, not today.

Do not open further Pill hover, shift, shine, shimmer, tactile, or gradient variants. If you want to contribute, pick a scoped, open issue that improves visitor content or the hire path (LinkedIn) instead.
