@frrrances, mind taking a look and seeing if this resolves the cases where IE was showing our copy/semantic undergarments? @adampalay, mind checking to see if these alerts/messages that were cleaned up are used at all? |

This removes copy that's not needed, as it is sometimes rendered in second-class browsers (IE).
Also, my editor cleaned up some whitespace/extra spacing on a line.
