Description

Reverting the tests added in #2153 until they can be hardened. Right now we're seeing too many flaky failures with them

Merge criteria

  • You have read the contributors guide.
  • Commit messages are meaningful - have a clear and concise summary and detailed explanation of what was changed and why.
  • Pull Request contains a description of the solution, a link to the JIRA issue, and to any dependent or related Pull Request.
  • Testing instructions have been added in the PR body (for PRs involving changes that are not immediately obvious).
  • The developer has manually tested the changes and verified that the changes work

Summary by CodeRabbit

  • Tests
    • Temporarily disabled multiple end-to-end test cases related to deletion recovery across various components. These tests cover deployment, configmap, service, service account, and RBAC resources. They are commented out and marked for future hardening.

Walkthrough

A set of end-to-end test files had their deletion recovery validation test cases commented out and disabled. This affects tests for deployment, configmap, service, serviceaccount, and RBAC deletion recovery across multiple components. Each disabled test is annotated with a TODO referencing ticket RHOAIENG-27721 for future hardening.

Poem

🐇
A hop through the tests, a pause on the run,
Five checks per suite, now resting, not gone.
With TODOs in tow and a ticket in sight,
We'll harden our code and soon set it right.
For now, let them nap—
While the rabbits map
A safer, more resilient night!

25-25: Remove redundant error check.

Line 25 contains a redundant require.NoError(t, err) statement. There's no preceding error assignment, and the same check already exists on line 19 after NewComponentTestCtx.

-	require.NoError(t, err)
