@types/lodashare now not compatible with older typescript versions anymore, which makes it fail with Typescript 4.4.4, which we're using. I investigated why we need this dependency (andlodash.merge) and found that it was added some 4 years ago, before the Metrics SDK rewrite (see #1491).Since that rewrite, however, we don't use it anymore, so it can be safely removed.
