…sheet Ghostty's clipboard-paste-protection flags pastes that could run commands on their own (for example text with a line break going to a program without bracketed paste) and asks the host to confirm. cmux has always approved these without asking, so the protection had no visible effect. terminal.confirmUnsafePaste (off by default, so nothing changes unless it is turned on) shows the confirmation as a sheet attached to the terminal's window, with a bounded preview of the text. Paste completes the request as confirmed; Cancel completes it with no text. OSC 52 clipboard reads, which use the same Ghostty callback, keep being approved. While the sheet is open the native request is registered again with the callback context, so runtime teardown completes it and closes the sheet instead of leaving a request that points at a freed surface. If the view has no window, or the request cannot be tracked, the paste is refused with a beep rather than pasted unasked. The setting is wired through the CmuxSettings catalog, the cmux.json mapping and schema (regenerated embedded schema), Settings > Terminal, search, and the settings skill reference. terminal.confirmUnsafePaste, off by default, so pastes Ghostty flags as unsafe can ask for confirmation in a sheet instead of being approved silently. Previously cmux always approved Ghostty's confirmation requests without asking, soclipboard-paste-protectionnever surfaced.When the setting is on, an unsafe paste opens a sheet on the terminal's window with a short explanation and a bounded preview (8 lines, 160 characters per line). Paste completes the paste; Cancel completes it with no text. OSC 52 clipboard reads stay approved, and if the view has no window (or the sheet cannot be attached) the paste is refused with a beep instead of pasted unasked.
