GitHub Accounts

Interaction with the CCRP code and documentation requires a GitHub account.

Why we use GitHub

Early on in the project, we decided to use GitHub not just to manage the code for the CCRP, but as the main management platform for the programme. This means that most of our documentation, project management and discussions are hosted on GitHub. This means we have one central platform that we can use to coordinate work across countries (and timezones) and to keep track of the various CCRP partner projects as the programme grows and evolves.

Guidelines

When creating a GitHub account or joining the project, we strongly advise that you include your full name - either as part of your username or by filling in the details on your profile. We'd also recommend adding a profile picture, if you are comfortable doing so.

This makes it easier for us to keep track of who is working for the CCRP - as we have dozens of PIs, engineers and collaborators working across dozens of different repositories.
