| If you have a specific provider you want to use with goose, and an API key from that provider, select **Other Providers**. Find the provider of your choice and click its `Configure` button. Depending on your provider, you'll need to input [parameters](#available-providers) such as API Key, API Host, or other optional parameters. Click the `Submit` button to begin your first session. | ||
|
|
||
| If you don't see your provider in the list, click `Add Custom Provider`. A modal opens for you to input the provider type, display name (will be shown on the previous model selection screen), API URL, API key, and available models. Click `Create Provider` to authenticate and begin your first session. |

I think we need to write each of these out for Custom Provider, OpenRouter, and Tetrate like Step 1, step 2 and not like a paragraph. Kinda like what Angie was suggesting here
1. On the LLM Provider screen, choose Other Providers
2. Find the provider of your choice and click Configure
3.Enter the API key and choose the model of your choice.
Note that you can manually
enter model IDs for ones not in the list (e.g. claude-sonnet-4.5)
