Magnetometer Test

Instructions:

The Magnetometer is not supported in the 1.0 code, but if you have one you can test it with the {{{APM_Compass_test}}} sketchfile in the \libraries\APM_Compass\examples folder.

Load the sketchfile on your board and observe the data in your serial window at 38,400 baud.

(Note: the orientation markings on the current board are incorrect. Please see this post for correct orientation.)

Troubleshooting:

Remember that the orientation of the magnetometer matters. If the heading data seems reversed, you've probably got it upside down (which will be the case if you've soldered it onto your board). No worries--that's all configurable in the settings.
