Different ways to get involved

There are a lot of different ways you can get involved with the Vanilla Renewed pack. Some of those ways include; Suggesting features, Reporting issues/bugs, using the assets to create your own pack, or even joining the Vanilla Renewed team.

Suggesting features

To suggest a feature that you'd like to see implemented into the pack, go to the "Discussion" tab and create a discussion under the "Ideas" section. Note that if the feature you want to suggest is related to an issue it should go under the "Issues" tab. Also, keep in mind that just because you submitted a feature request, does not mean the feature will be implemented into the pack. If it is decided that the feature will be implemented it is also important to remember that new features have to be bug tested and that the Vanilla Renewed pack will be updated once a month to allow features and bugs to be sufficiently tested before release.

Reporting issues/bugs

Reporting issues/bugs is a big help and is an easy way to get involved with the Vanilla Renewed pack. To report an issue go to the "Issues" tab, click "New Issue", then "Bug Report" for bugs or "Feature Request" for feature related issues, then just fill out the template and submit the issue.

Using the assets of the pack

All assets of the pack are free to use, edit, and distribute, as they are open-source, and are under the MIT license. The code can be used for commercial purposes and the Vanilla Renewed team will not be held accountable for what you do with the assets of the Vanilla Renewed pack.

Joining the Vanilla Renewed team

To join the Vanilla Renewed team you can email [email protected] As a part of the team there are a lot of ways you can help out including still suggesting features and reporting issues, but also being assigned to help fix those issues and testing out new features in the experimental branch of the pack.
