📦 Features :

  • A long standing improvement (#66) to have nice/rewritten product URLs when on a virtual category page and Store > Configuration > Catalog > Catalog > Use Categories Path for Product URLs is set to Yes (#1475)
  • untouched sub-fields are now limited to a length of 256 "characters" (#1479) to limit issues with invalid UTF-8 sequences (#1487)

✅ Fixed :

  • An issue (#1497) where filterable swatch attributes would not display any value if using the Admin sort facet sort order (#1499)
  • Cyrillic characters are no longer ignored/removed (#1184) when using the layered navigation filters search field (#1471)
  • An issue with search optimizers (#1473) not working anymore in category product view context which appeared in the previous 2.8.1 release (#1480)
