Also, I see you added gps 768 to the merged_convinfo. I didn't include this since I assume it's not in operations yet and so should not be in the parallels?

Correct, gps 768 is not operationally assimilated. GSI PR #966 will add this capability to GSI develop. I don't know when we plan to operationally assimilate gps 768.

Looks like gps 768 was added to convinfo_merged main branch back in Oct by @jswhit

It's OK to have it in merged_convinfo, which is used for reanalysis. The date-versioned files in gfsv17_historical should mirror operational changes though, so it should stay out of those until it is implemented in operations.
