Streaming Instructions

This feature is available as of HDT v0.14.10.
The options menu can be found under options (advanced) > overlay > streaming
.
- Start Hearthstone.
- Enable
Show capturable overlay window
. - For the purpose of this setup: make sure
options > overlay > general > hide in menu
is disabled.
- In OBS, add a new window capture source (e.g. called "HDT Overlay").
- Select
[Hearthstone Deck Tracker.exe] HDT - Captureable Overlay
, setWindow Match Priority
toWindow Title
, enableCapture Cursor
. - Disable
Capture Cursor
for your Hearthstone source. Not doing this will cause the Cursor to show up beneath the overlay. - Rightclick the
HDT Overlay
source you just added and selectFilters
. - Add a new
Chroma Key
filter. - Set the
Key Color Type
toMagenta
(default background color set above),Similarity
to350
,Smoothness
to80
andKey Color Spill Reduction
to1
. You may have to adjust these values a bit. - Close the Filter window, adjust the overlay size in OBS and start Streaming!
- Add a new
Screen Capture
, select any window. - Rightclick the source you just added, set
Window Source
toHDT - Capturable Overlay
. - Under
Color > Keying
selectChroma Key
. - Enable
Legacy Mode
and with theEyedrop Tool
select the magenta of the overlay. This should set the first value to around-142
. - Move the second slider to the right until you see no more magenta.
- Adjust the size and Start streaming!
