Commit and use the dashboard lockfile in CI.

cargo generate-lockfile resolves a fresh dependency graph on each run. --locked still prevents later lockfile changes, but it does not enforce a committed dependency graph. This is a reproducibility improvement, not a current build failure.

Commit integrations/ratatui-tokio-dashboard/Cargo.lock and remove the generation step. The workflow is under .github/workflows/**, so the OPERATOR must apply this change.

Remove the “Resolve dependency graph” step from the workflow so CI uses the
committed dependency graph with the existing locked check and test commands.
Ensure the dashboard’s Cargo.lock is committed; do not generate a fresh lockfile
in CI.

# MANIFEST — ratatui-tokio-terminal-dashboard

## Summary

Build a Termux-first Rust terminal dashboard using Tokio for asynchronous producers and Ratatui for responsive rendering. The first production slice is a process/system monitor with bounded event channels, model/render separation, dirty-frame coalescing, graceful metric fallback, and clean terminal lifecycle handling.

## Source

Issue #934. The design is grounded in the requested Ratatui/Tokio dashboard concept: active streams, latency/throughput, CPU/memory, thread-pool/process views, and low-latency redraw behavior.

## Reviewers

| timerloggedout-spec | operator-authorizer | requested | 2026-09-30 | operator lane |
| ChatGPT | author+executor | executing | 2026-09-30 | implementation |

## Promotion

Execution is bounded to the integration crate. Promotion requires repo-gate, termux-smoke, Rust formatting/check/test evidence, and verification that the runtime remains graceful when a metric source is unavailable.

# Ratatui + Tokio Terminal Dashboard

Termux-first responsive terminal dashboard for live system/process and async-stream telemetry.

## Why this exists

This is the first implementation slice of the requested Ratatui/Tokio dashboard concept:

- Tokio async producers feed bounded event channels.
- A pure dashboard model owns state transitions.
- Ratatui renders only after the model becomes dirty.
- Ratatui itself diffs frame buffers so unchanged terminal cells are not rewritten.
- /proc metrics are read without a privileged service.
- Unavailable metric sources degrade to safe empty/zero values instead of crashing the UI.

The visual layout covers the reference concepts: active streams, latency, throughput, CPU, memory, processes, and runtime/thread-pool state.

## Run on Termux

~~~sh
cd integrations/ratatui-tokio-dashboard
cargo run --release
~~~

Controls:

- q / Esc — quit
- Up / k — previous stream
- Down / j — next stream
- r — mark a refresh

Ratatui initialization enables raw mode and the alternate screen, and the application has an additional Drop guard for restoration.

## Architecture

~~~
The stream producer is intentionally a deterministic in-process source for the first slice. A later adapter can replace it with a real event source without changing the dashboard model or renderer.
## Termux notes
This implementation treats /proc as an optional observation surface. Android/Termux kernels and permission policies can expose different process details. The dashboard therefore does not require every /proc file to exist.
RSS conversion currently assumes a 4 KiB page. If Android-specific page sizing becomes important, the metric adapter should read the runtime page size instead of hard-coding it.
## Validation
~~~sh
cargo fmt --check
cargo check
cargo test
~~~
The crate is deliberately standalone: it does not add itself to the monorepo's existing Rust crates and does not expand the always-on repo gate.
## Provenance
Implements: TUI-RATATUI-001 through TUI-RATATUI-006.
Source concept: user-provided Ratatui/Tokio terminal-dashboard references, registered as issue #934.
