@Sidnioulz @shilman @JReinhold @huang-julien @vanessayuenn, this is ready for a look. I can't request reviewers from a fork, so I'm pinging you here. I've rebased it on the latest The commits are split by area and are meant to be reviewed in order. The description explains how this would land as stacked PRs. Could someone add the labels |

Review comments at @code/core/src/csf-tools/CsfObject.ts:
- Around line 486-490: Update CsfObject.sourceFor to identify parser nodes by
their numeric spans and route them to printExpression, even when textOf returns
undefined, so unknown-source nodes trigger printExpression’s error. Use isSpan
from the editor module; keep plain CsfValue objects, including objects with a
type property, on the printValue path.
Review comments at @code/core/src/csf-tools/estree/ast.ts:
- Around line 244-253: Update expressionFromSource to parse detached fragments
as TSX first and retry as TS when TSX parsing fails, rethrowing the original TSX
error if both attempts fail. Apply the same shared fragment parser in
unboundNames instead of calling parseModule directly, so detached syntax valid
only in TS remains supported.
Review comments at
@code/frameworks/tanstack-react/src/plugins/server-code-elimination.ts:
- Around line 261-264: Update the function/class branch for `binding.kind` so
removing an exported declaration also removes its parent
`ExportNamedDeclaration` or `ExportDefaultDeclaration`; continue removing
`binding.node` directly when it is not wrapped in an export declaration.
Review comments at
@code/lib/cli-storybook/src/automigrate/fixes/tag-filter-api.ts:
- Around line 46-61: Update the key collection and rewrite loop in the
tag-filter migration to track whether each collected key belongs to a shorthand
property in an ObjectPattern. When renaming a shorthand key, expand it to
preserve the original local binding (including assignment-pattern defaults);
keep existing renaming behavior for non-shorthand properties and
MemberExpression properties.
Review comments at @code/lib/codemod/src/transforms/csf-2-to-3.ts:
- Around line 152-153: Move the objectExports.add(key) call in the
story-processing flow to after the replaceExport check, adding the key only when
replaceExport is true. Preserve the early return for non-rewritten exports so
their args and parameters statements are not removed.
After applying the fix, consider running `coderabbit review --agent` for local
review. Visit https://docs.coderabbit.ai/cli?utm_source=ghpr

@kasperpeulen Yes, it's magic-string. Inserted code copies the indentation of the line it lands on ( The save-story and codemod snapshot tests pass unchanged on this, which is the best evidence that the formatting survives. (Written with Claude Code on my behalf; I reviewed it.) |

Edited after re-running every repro on both sides. The
utils.test.tsitem and the Chromatic explanation were wrong and are corrected. The inline comments now includefile:lineand a few repro fixes. Two asks changed:fileNamestays optional with a parser fallback (#4), and the harness is a committed corpus with golden outputs instead of keeping Babel around. The bot review below has been updated to match.Edited again after a QA round that ran every automigration, codemod, save-story case, docs transform and the editing API through both
nextand this branch (counts under "What holds up"). Items marked (new) came out of that round. They have no inline comment, so their repros are in the bullets or in the collapsed section at the end.
Thanks for this. The direction is right, and the read side is impressive.
We reviewed it differentially: the same inputs through next (Babel, merge-base 8d01e03) and through this branch (OXC), using the compiled core/dist of both.
What holds up
- Index entries are identical on the repo's ~760 story files, and CSF parsing for the index is about 4× faster (
storybook indexon the internal UI: 1.80 s → 1.15 s). On a 76-file adversarial corpus the only differences are edge cases:- error wording;
- two improvements:
<T>xassertions in.tsfiles now parse, and aplaywritten as afunctionexpression is detected as usingmount; - JSX in a
.tsfile no longer parses (TypeScript rejects it too); - a
get render()getter no longer counts as an args story.
- Codemods and save-story never changed which stories exist, or their ids, names, tags or args, after re-indexing the output: ~1,000 story files through 8 story transforms, and 5,397 save cases.
- Automigrations and
storybook add/removeshowed no new corruption over ~15,000 fix runs and ~21,600ConfigFileoperations, apart from the items below. This branch also fixes anextbug there: recast's reprint changed\line continuations and template literals in untouched siblings. vitestTransformmatchesnext, and save-story does too apart from one item below.- Compile, type check and unit tests pass. The internal UI build gives a byte-identical
index.json(1,751 entries) and identical manifests. Apart from the known Next.js webpack and Solid failures, seven sandboxes build and pass their tests, and 169 CI jobs pass. - Vite csf-plugin source maps are better than on
next(0 wrongly mapped tokens over 857 files;next: 147k), as long as no edit commits beforeformatCsf(see below). - TanStack server-code elimination never keeps server code that
nextremoved (113 cases). - OXC offsets are UTF-16, so emoji, CJK and BOM files are fine.
Why changes are requested
The write side (span edits replacing recast) has regressions against next. Some of them silently corrupt user files. Repros are in the inline comments.
Both regression sections below, the MIGRATION.md gaps and the editor tests block approval.
Must fix: regressions against next
-
move()/group()corrupt members that span several lines. Sometimes silently; sometimes the edit fails and the file is left unchanged. This breaks thecomponent-subtitleandset-config-layoutautomigrations. -
The webpack/rspack csf-plugin loader drops the incoming source map. Story files in every webpack and rsbuild project map to the wrong lines.
-
Next.js webpack dev fails in CI (3 jobs). The mock-loader map has
sources: [""]. -
Parsing without a file name defaults to TSX, so
.tsfiles with generic arrows like<T>(x: T) => xfail. This hits Vite automock (silently mocks nothing), previewtags, docs enrichment, codemods, and addon-vitest (addsstorybookTesttwice). Please fix it in the parser rather than per call site: parse unnamed code with the TSX-then-TS fallback thatparseFragmentalready has, route automock'sparseModuleAstthroughparseModule, and pass the file name wherever one exists. -
Re-indenting changes the value of multi-line template literals.
-
addon-vitest: code after the last import on the same line ends up inside the

upgrade-deprecated-typesdrops inlinetypemodifiers, which breaksverbatimModuleSyntax. -
Docs snippets:
- React: an async render with a block body shows the parse error as the code.
- Web components: a
//comment in a handler produces a broken<script>. - Vue: expressions with leading whitespace or outer parentheses lose their snippet.
-
Flow: we're fine dropping Flow in 11, but it has to be an explicit breaking change. That means a MIGRATION.md entry, and a parse error that names Flow for
// @flowfiles. -

scope.tsgaps: parameter defaults resolve to body declarations, the switch discriminant resolves inside the switch scope, parameter decorators aren't visited, and the namespace inimport X = NS.Yisn't counted. TanStack now trusts scope analysis, so it can delete a live import and cause aReferenceError.- (new) Assignments don't count as uses either. In

- (new) The parser no longer reports semantic errors. Babel rejected duplicate declarations,

AssignmentPattern is not supportedfor a destructured export with a default (export const { a = 1 } = obj), so nothing in that module is mocked (mocking-utils/automock.ts:104). Plain destructured exports are now mocked, whichnextskipped. - (new) Saving args on a re-exported story (
export { Local as Alias }) throws aTypeError(save-story/update-args-in-csf-file.ts:26).nextleft the file unchanged. Please throw aSaveStoryErrorinstead. - (new) addon-vitest's Angular postinstall now writes a second

setImport(['a', 'a'], 'x')writesimport { a, a }, and array edits drop holes ([, 'a']). - Source maps lose the original coordinates once an edit commits.
replaceSource(estree/editor.ts:100) starts a fresh MagicString from the edited text. So anexperimental_enrichCsfhook that edits throughcsf.objects()gets a map relative to the edited code:Primaryon line 4 maps to line 5 (next: 4), andsourcesContentholds the edited text. Please compose the maps across commits, or avoid committing beforeformatCsf, and add a hook test. - Errors that used Babel's
buildCodeFrameErrorlost their code frames. They now go throughstoryShapeError(story-shape/normalize-story.ts:13), shared by the React and Vue docs code. Please move the privatecodeFramefromwarnWhenUsingArgTypesRegex.ts:52intoestree/ast.tsand use it there.
Tests and maintainability
-
estree/editor.ts(541 lines) has no unit tests of its own, and no move test moves a multi-line value. Please add editor tests for multi-line members, template literals, CRLF, tabs, comments and parenthesized items. -
Please commit a differential corpus with golden outputs recorded once from
next:- Use frozen copies of the inputs, not the live repo stories, which change over time.
- Record what callers consume as JSON: index inputs,
_stories/_meta, test names and ids, scope bindings. - Compare transform output after formatting, since Babel reprints and OXC keeps the layout. Formatting doesn't normalize strings inside the output, so intentional differences such as
originalSourceneed their own expectation, tested against the authored text. - Assert against the committed files with
toEqualrather than snapshots, so-ucan't re-baseline them.
Then it can be rerun on every OXC upgrade without keeping the Babel implementation around. Comparing
scope.tsagainst@babel/traverseas a test-only devDependency is fine. -
scope.tstreats unknown TS node types as type-only. A renamed or new OXC node then silently undercounts references, which is the dangerous direction for dead-code removal. Please fail closed. -
story-shape/utils.test.tslost the<Story>{}type-assertion case ofunwrapExpression. -
The CLI has its own copies of core editor helpers, with different behaviour:
source-edits.tsremoveStatementsvs coreremoveStatementsetImportSpecifiersvsConfigFile._removeImportaddImportToTopvsprependStatement
It also reaches further into
ConfigFileprivate state thannextdid (_editorSource,_commit()). Please move these helpers into core and reuse them. -
codeOf(story-shape/resolve-members.ts:63) only works aftereditor.parentOf()has filled a module-level registry (estree/ast.ts:216). Hidden state like this is easy to break. Please register sources at parse time or pass the editor in.
MIGRATION.md gaps
- Flow is no longer supported.
docs.source.originalSourceis now the verbatim source text, which changes whatdocs.source.transformreceives.- Parse error messages now use OXC's wording and end with

Suggestion for landing
-
Removing
storybook/internal/babelbreaks these at load time:storybook-solidjs-vite(our solid sandbox)storybook-addon-test-codegen- the
msw-storybook-addonmigrate CLI
All three also read Babel-shaped
csf-toolsinternals (_ast,_storyExports,_metaNode, …). Step 2 (the switch) already removesCsfFile._ast, so they break there even withinternal/babelstill present; thestorybook-solidjs-vitedocgen worker readscsf._ast.program, for example. Keeping the removal as the final PR still makes sense, but it won't keep the solid sandbox green on its own. The coordination with those maintainers has to happen before step 2 lands. -
The open-service
unrefcommit is unrelated; it can be its own PR. -
We'll run

// next: "Identifier 'A' has already been declared"
// this: indexes A without args…torKeys The analyser classifies every `TS*` node as runtime code or type and throws for one it does not know. A test now compares both lists with the `visitorKeys` of the oxc-parser it runs on, so a new node type on an oxc bump fails CI instead of indexing. The unknown-node check also covers nodes reached only through type traversal: type aliases, `: Type` annotations, whose references are not counted, and type arguments. … release MIGRATION names the packages that read `storybook/internal/babel` or Babel-shaped `csf-tools` fields and stop loading until they publish a release. `ConfigFile.target` no longer mentions an annotation target, which story fields replaced. Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5.1 <noreply@anthropic.com>
…y provide A parent created after several spreads carried their member as `...(Two.args ?? One.args)`, which reads `One.args` when `Two` has its own `args: undefined`, where the spread result has none. Creating the parent, or an array, is now refused with `spread-field` when more than one spread may provide the member. A local object literal known to have it still settles which one does, and one known to lack it is skipped. The README states that a carried member is read again, so a getter or a reassigned binding can give another value. Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5.1 <noreply@anthropic.com>
`set` prints an expression from the source it was parsed from, so a change to a node's fields was dropped while the edit reported success. The nodes these reads give are now deeply frozen, so such a change throws. MIGRATION and the README say to pass a plain value or `parseExpression(text)` instead. Freezing adds about 5 µs to a `get` of a story's args or render function. Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5.1 <noreply@anthropic.com>
… snippets
A handler bound in a template, such as `@click=${(event) => { … }}`,
was printed on one line with its comments kept, so a line comment
swallowed the rest of the snippet's script. It is printed with its own
lines now, re-indented for the script, like a handler passed as an arg;
the one-line text stays for the warning that names it.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5.1 <noreply@anthropic.com>
…ient names
Enums, namespaces and `declare function`s bind no name in the scope
analysis, so `generateUid` could return their name: a story file with
`enum _meta {}` got a `const _meta` next to it from the Vitest
transform, which does not parse. Their names are now reserved.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5.1 <noreply@anthropic.com>
…written out
An array arg rebuilt to write out its spreads joined its elements with
commas, so `[{ ...Base },,]` became `[{ a: 1 }, ]`, one element
shorter. A hole at the end now gets the comma that keeps it.

…n arguments `extractSource` takes the file's normalized code and `extractDescription` the file's `SourceEditor`; the old one-argument calls throw. MIGRATION shows both calls before and after. Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5.1 <noreply@anthropic.com>
…nd dist `bc4cbe8` made `_module`, `_batch` and `_transaction` on `SourceEditor` private. A private member makes the class nominal, so the declarations in `src` and in `dist` are no longer assignable to each other. CI type checks against the declaration files a production compile writes, and there `scripts/tasks/sandbox-parts.ts`, `resolve-meta-component.ts`, `update-args-in-csf-file.ts`, `duplicate-story-with-new-name.ts` and `enrichCsf.ts` failed. A local check passed only because `code/core/dist` had no `.d.ts`, so TypeScript resolved the sources instead. The three members are plain again, with the comment that says why, and `editor.test-d.ts`, which pinned them as private, is gone. `@internal` would not do: core strips internal members from its declarations, so `dist` would lack them and still not accept `src`. Verified with the declaration files present, as CI has them: `yarn nx run core:compile -c production` (60 `.d.ts` in `code/core/dist`), then `cd scripts && yarn check` and `yarn nx run core:check --exclude-task-dependencies`. With the private members both fail (1 error in scripts at `sandbox-parts.ts:892`, 8 in core); with this commit both pass. Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5.1 <noreply@anthropic.com>
Since `c8fe98d`, discovery reports a story whose initializer is not a story object, function or bound template as `unsupported-initializer`. That is right for `= base` or `= make()`, which `argtypes-default-value` used to skip silently, but it also failed a file with `export const Secondary = Primary`, which the fix migrated before: the alias shares `Primary`'s object, so stripping `Primary` covers it. `everyCsfObject(csf)` in `edit-parsed-file.ts` discovers the meta and stories like `csf.objects()`, for an edit that applies alike to all of them, and marks the discovery diagnostic of a `const` story that names an edited story (through `as`/`satisfies`, and through other aliases) as covered, so `editParsedFile` does not fail the file for it. Every other diagnostic still fails it, such as one for a story declared as `base`. `argtypes-default-value` is the only automigration that discovers stories: `component-subtitle` reads the meta only, and `docgen-server` and `tag-filter-api` edit the main config, so none of them can meet the diagnostic. Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5.1 <noreply@anthropic.com>
Only `CsfFile#transaction` and `ConfigFile#transaction` restored the file's `changed` flag on rollback, so a transaction started on the now public `csf.editor` that rolled back left `csf.changed` true while the code was as before. The file now registers the reset through `editor._onRollback` when it first sets the flag, as `CsfObject` does for its own `changed`. Any transaction running, on the file or on its editor, resets it, and the file's `transaction` methods no longer need their own rollback. `ConfigFile` sets the flag through `_markChanged` for its array helpers and call arguments too. MIGRATION tells addons that support Storybook 10 and 11 to detect the
new API with `typeof csfTools.parseModule === 'function'` on
`storybook/internal/csf-tools`, as the ports already do. The
`removeField` row says that `remove` also deletes a parent it leaves
empty: `export const core = { builder: 'webpack4' }` loses the export
instead of becoming `export const core = {}`.

…s-run-them-in-sandboxes-and next moved csf-tools and the codemods from Babel to oxc (#36613) and removed `storybook/internal/babel`. The Svelte CSF codemod now parses and edits its module scripts with SourceEditor. The changes of this branch to story-to-csf-factory.ts are ported to the oxc version: the shared getPreviewImportPath and reuseDisallowList, and the exports of an imported Svelte CSF file that are not stories. csf-factories-utils.ts drops the Babel addImportToTop, which next removed. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
Point the storybook, @storybook/addon-vitest and @storybook/react-vite dev dependencies at the pkg.pr.new canary of storybookjs/storybook next (b26f35e1aff), which has storybookjs/storybook#36613 and #36947. Its packages depend on each other by URL, so pnpm-workspace.yaml allows exotic subdependencies until they are on an npm release again. With the csf-tools of Storybook 11 installed, test:codemod now runs the ESTree suite and skips the Babel one. The Storybook 11 sidebar lists stories as tree grid rows rather than links, so the story tests click the row. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
Storybook 11 replaces Babel and recast in csf-tools with oxc-parser (storybookjs/storybook#36613). `storybook/internal/babel` is removed and `CsfFile._ast` is gone, so the preset failed to load with `Missing "./internal/babel" specifier in "storybook" package`. Saving a story now parses the story file with the addon's own @babel/parser (already a devDependency, bundled into the preset as before) and writes the change as text edits on the source, so code the save does not touch stays as written. From csf-tools it uses only `loadCsf`, `parse()`, `_stories` and `_storyExports`, which are the same in Storybook 10 and 11. Generated args follow the file's quote style and leave keys unquoted where they can be, and no blank lines are added between members, which were recast artefacts; `removeExtraNewlines` worked around those and is removed. Three fixtures are updated for that and for untouched lines that recast used to reprint; five fixtures are added. The peer range adds `^11.0.0-0`. Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5.1 <noreply@anthropic.com>
Saving a story edits syntax nodes in every step: copying a story, setting its args and play function, and merging imports. Storybook 10 hands out Babel nodes and Storybook 11 with storybookjs/storybook#36613 ESTree nodes, so those steps come in two versions behind one `StorySaver`: `save-story-babel.ts` is the code from `main`, and `save-story-estree.ts` the code of this PR. `generateStoryCode` keeps what is shared: finding the story to edit, the new name and id, and the play body lines. The preset picks the saver on the first save, by whether csf-tools have `parseModule`, and imports only that one. The node build now splits chunks, so neither saver's imports load on the other Storybook. The Babel saver parses imports with Storybook's Babel instead of requiring `@babel/parser`, which `main` had to bundle into the preset. The tests are split the same way. `main`'s cases run on the Babel csf-tools and this PR's on the ESTree ones, each skipped on the other; a few tests of the shared choices run on both. The peer range adds `^11.0.0-0`. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
The preset no longer keeps the saver promise: Node caches the import, so each save asks `loadStorySaver` again, and a failed load is not kept. The `parseModule` check lives in one place, `hasEstreeCsfTools`, which the test helper uses too. A Babel-path test pins that a refused copy of a CSF2 story still reaches the caller as a rejection. Comments name the paths by csf-tools: Storybook 11 prereleases without storybookjs/storybook#36613 still take the Babel one. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
* fix: edit story files without storybook/internal/babel Storybook 11 replaces Babel and recast in csf-tools with oxc-parser (storybookjs/storybook#36613). Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5.1 <noreply@anthropic.com> * refactor: write saved stories through Storybook 11's CsfObject API The addon's own parser and source editor are replaced by Storybook 11's public csf-tools API, so this change needs Storybook 11. - Args and play go through the story's `CsfObject` from `csf.objects()`: `set(['args', key], value)` per arg, functions as `parseExpression` expressions, and `remove(['play'])` then `set(['play'], parseExpression(...))`, as `set` keeps the indentation of an expression that replaces a value. - A new story is a copy of the original's text added with `appendStatement` on `csf._editor`, after which `remove(['args'])` and `remove(['name'])` clear it, as in Storybook's own save-story. - Imports use `parseModule`, `setImportSpecifiers` and `prependStatement`. - A one-line story object is laid out one member per line with `objectList`, `itemText` and `printMembers` before play is added, as `set` keeps a one-line object on one line. - The output is printed with `printCsf`. `source-editor.ts` and the `@babel/parser` devDependency are removed; the preset no longer bundles a parser. Fixtures change where `set` prints differently: nested arg objects on one line, and a trailing comma after an added play. Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5.1 <noreply@anthropic.com> * fix: copy CSF4 stories, lay out new args, and drop copies of internals - "Save as new story" copies a CSF4 `meta.story({ ... })` story too, as `isCsfFactoryCall` tells it apart from a CSF2 call. - An args object the save creates is laid out one member per line, as before; the story object is laid out first. - A one-line story exported as `export { Default }` is laid out one member per line as well, as its literal is found by local name. - A story `CsfObject` skips reports the csf-tools diagnostic instead of always "CSF2". - New named imports go to an import of the same module that is not a namespace import. - Function args stay the controls' `__sb_empty_function_arg__` marker until they are written as `parseExpression('() => {}')`, instead of a copy of Storybook's `emptyFunction`; the unused `withoutUndefined` copy is removed. Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5.1 <noreply@anthropic.com> * refactor: drop the csf-tools workarounds that Storybook 11 no longer needs csf-tools now does what the addon worked around (storybookjs/storybook #36613 at 93fc3ee), so the workarounds go: - `set(['play'], ...)` replaces an existing play in place and indents it, so play is no longer removed and added again, which moved it to the end of the story and dropped the comment above it. - `set` takes `parseExpression` nodes at any depth, so function args are converted in the value and set with it, also inside arrays. - `set` lays a one-line object out one member per line when it adds a member that spans lines, so `expandObject` and the story and args literal lookups are removed. - `appendStatement` sets a new story apart with a blank line, so `separateStory` is removed. A copy of a story removes only the `args` and `name` it writes, read from `CsfObject.node`, as next to a spread csf-tools cannot tell that a member is missing. Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5.1 <noreply@anthropic.com> * fix: copy a story without its args and name even after a spread Removing `name` or `args` from the appended copy through `CsfObject` is refused after a spread, as it could reveal the spread's value, and a copy must not take on the spread's `name` or `args` either. As in Storybook's own duplicateStoryWithNewName, the story's text is now edited in a detached `SourceEditor` first: `objectList` and `removeFromList` drop the top-level `args` and `name`, and `appendStatement` adds the result. Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5.1 <noreply@anthropic.com> * refactor: make the save steps synchronous and flatten the import merge Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com> * test: save a CSF2 story through its assignments Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com> * fix: refuse to copy function stories and end statements like the file does Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com> * test: save args on stories that spread another story Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com> * feat: keep the Babel save steps for Storybook 10 next to the ESTree ones Saving a story edits syntax nodes in every step: copying a story, setting its args and play function, and merging imports. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com> * refactor: look the saver up on each save and pin a Babel refusal The preset no longer keeps the saver promise: Node caches the import, so each save asks `loadStorySaver` again, and a failed load is not kept. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com> * refactor: save stories through the public csf-tools API on Storybook 11 The storybook, @storybook/react-vite and @storybook/addon-docs dev dependencies point at the pkg.pr.new canary of storybookjs/storybook next at b26f35e, which has the completed csf-tools API. The tests now run the ESTree path; the Babel path's tests skip themselves. The ESTree path no longer reads underscored CsfFile fields or edits imports by hand: - storyObject(exportName) replaces the search through objects() and mutationDiagnostics. - stories, editor.scopes and StaticStory.factory find the story to copy instead of _storyExports and isCsfFactoryCall. - editor, editor.fileName and appendStatement replace _editor, _options.fileName and the appendStatement helper. - setImport replaces the import merge built on prependStatement and setImportSpecifiers. textOf reads each specifier of the generated import, instead of slicing parsed.code by offsets. setImport adds a new import after the file's imports, not before them, so the fixtures that add storybook/test change accordingly. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com> * chore: keep Storybook 10 as the dev dependency Reverts the dev dependencies and the lockfile to Storybook 10.0.2, so CI keeps running the Babel path that the addon's current users take. The ESTree tests skip themselves there; run them by hand against the canary until the first Storybook 11 prerelease is on npm.
