What I did

Add Story snippet generation for WC.

Output is HTML only, CSS custom properties in style, parts and states in a leading <style> block.
What HTML cannot express is said in the story warning: listeners, properties without an attribute, args the element does not declare, and values the pass could not read.

Example, lit-basic-attributes args story (today: <lit-basic-attributes></lit-basic-attributes>):

Known limitations, stated in warnings:

an arg whose value is an imported identifier is reported unresolved (same as Angular),
vanilla-multi-definition declares beta-label without a fieldName, so the betaLabel arg cannot be paired statically.

How to review

Start with classify-args.ts: it is the whole mapping from an arg to HTML, and it reuses the categories the docgen mapper already writes.
Then build-story-docs.ts, top down: buildStoryDocsPayload, renderedSnippet, argsSnippet. The switch in argsSnippet is where every warning comes from.
print-element.ts with its test table side by side: the test rows are the spec.
Skim the recordings rather than reading them all. csf-shapes/story-docs.payload.snapshot shows every shape with its warning in one file. lit-basic-attributes/server-snippet-ArgsDefaultRender.snapshot against its legacy snippet-ArgsDefaultRender.snapshot shows the gain.
The preset is the Vue gate plus the Angular docgen getter; only the try/catch fallback is new.

npx @custom-elements-manifest/analyzer analyze --litelement --globs 'src/stories/DemoCard.ts' writes custom-elements.json at the sandbox root.
In .storybook/main.ts: features: { experimentalDocgenServer: true } and framework: { name: '@storybook/web-components-vite', options: { customElementsManifest: '../custom-elements.json' } }.
npx storybook tools --no-attach docs list lists demo-card (example-democard); no dev server needed.
npx storybook tools --no-attach docs show --id example-democard: every story prints an HTML snippet, for example <demo-card heading="Hello card"></demo-card>, instead of "No code snippet was extracted for this story."
yarn storybook, open the Default story, Code panel: same snippet. On a story with 'demo-select-event': () => {} the listener warning shows above it.
A story with parameters: { docs: { source: { code: '<demo-card heading="Authored"></demo-card>' } } } prints that verbatim in both places.
