Consider the example of gitlens and ghpr extensions both contributing link providers for a git commit, it would be great if via the tooltip you could action any of these from there and choose the default you prefer.

This would be cool but I don't see it happening any time soon. We can re-create/open the issue in the future if it's prioritized.
