The sidebar hides a Cloud panel while its catalog terminal is missing or launching. Readiness arrives as a delta that repeats the cwd, so the projection, names and directory were unchanged and the workspace row never rebuilt. Terminal lifecycles are now part of the workspace's Cloud catalog metadata, so their arrival and readiness fire the sidebar observation. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

🎯 Functional Correctness | 🟠 Major | ⚡ Quick win
Add parser support before asserting kitty-shell-cwd acceptance.
terminal_pwd_to_local_path returns None for this input because Line 1298 accepts only the file scheme. local_terminal_pwd_to_local_path has the same restriction at Line 1329. The first positive assertion fails, so this test cannot pass as written. Update both parsers to handle the intended reports while preserving their existing host and path checks.

88e0d72 fix: scope My Devices presence to the signed-in user (manaflow-ai#17385) 616e959 feat: add Coderouter section to Cloud sidebar (manaflow-ai#17233) 27f673f Cloud: fork from a base machine, with working and optimistic forks (manaflow-ai#17330) c18c5c1 fix(cloud): wake the sidebar when a Cloud terminal finishes launching (manaflow-ai#17379)
Ghostty's shell integration follows the first prompt's file:// OSC 7 with kitty-shell-cwd://HOST/PATH, and the terminal keeps that last report. The daemon only parsed file:// URLs, so it turned the kitty report into no directory and cleared the cwd it had just published. A new Cloud terminal's sidebar subtitle appeared, vanished, and came back only after a later prompt sent file:// alone. Main already carries the failing test terminal_pwd_accepts_local_kitty_shell_cwd_reports (#17379). Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
Fixes a Cloud workspace row in the sidebar that stays blank (no machine name or directory) after its terminal finishes starting, as seen on a background workspace like
fork-verify.The sidebar hides a Cloud panel while its catalog terminal is missing or
launching. The daemon reports readiness as a delta that repeats the same cwd, so the workspace's projection, machine names and directory are all unchanged,WorkspaceCloudBindingStatenever bumps its revision, and the row is never rebuilt. It stayed blank until something unrelated (selection, acd) refreshed it.Each projected panel's terminal lifecycle is now part of the workspace's Cloud catalog metadata, so a terminal row arriving or leaving
launchingfires the sidebar's Cloud observation. Identical updates still dedupe. Residual gaps from the review subagent, left for follow-up: (1) a panel with no cwd of its own falls back to another terminal's cwd on the same machine (acceptedMachineDirectory), and that input still does not wake the row; (2) the presentation reads lifecycle from the catalog while invalidation keys off the stored copy, so a future catalog write that skipsupdateCloudDirectoryMetadata(todayupsert/remove, always followed by a projection or full install) could reopen this. Making the presentation read the stored lifecycle closes (2) but blanks rows whenever the stored copy lags, so it is not done here.Supersedes #17376 (same Swift fix; that PR's regression test changed between the red and green commits, and it bundled an unrelated guest prompt-retry change and a pbxproj repair that main already landed).
Regression test
cmuxTests/CloudDirectoryLifecycleTests/launchCompletionWakesSidebar, driving the readiness through the production delta path. Red on the test commit, green on the fix commit (runs linked in comments).Changelog
Fixed: Cloud workspaces in the sidebar no longer stay blank after their terminal finishes starting.
