Summary
CmuxTerminalCore-Package build-for-testing+xcrun xctestfocused stepCmuxTerminalCorein the requiredswift-package-testspackage listThis is separate from #13386. It removes build-only producer inputs that remained in the consumer job after the build/test artifact handoff.
Measurement
On full-suite canary 35535155392, shard 6 spent approximately:
CmuxTerminalCore-Packagebuild/test: 20.5sThat is about 35s from the shard carrying the gate. Rust/Ghostty setup also runs on the other five app-host workers, for roughly 1.5–2 macOS runner-minutes of setup per full run.
The split-theme package tests are already represented by the required package lane:
Run Swift package unit testsincludesCmuxTerminalCore. The removed focused step built only that package, so it could not validate the app-source forwarding layer independently.Coverage / failure behavior

Trims build-only setup from app-host test shards so consumers only launch tests against pre-built artifacts, cutting roughly 35s from the gating shard plus setup time on all six app-host workers.
CmuxTerminalCore-Packagebuild-and-test step, and the always-skipped theme picker helper regression from app-host consumers; the restored product already contains everything they need at runtime.CmuxTerminalCoreas a requiredswift-package-testspackage so package coverage is unchanged.CmuxTerminalCorein the package lane and fail if consumer shards reintroduce build toolchain preparation, the independent package build, or theme-helper steps.Written for commit bb011cc. Summary will update on new commits.
