Describe the bug

When you launch Preview.app manually and then open a file, the window doesn't appear in AltTab. Strangely, if you open the file via Finder (and it's set to open with Preview.app), the window does show up.

Steps to reproduce the bug

  1. Open Preview.app and select a file.
  2. Observe that AltTab does not show the window that just spawned.
  3. Close Preview.app.
  4. Open Finder and select a file that opens with Preview.app (e.g. a PDF file).
  5. Observe that AltTab shows the window that just spawned.

Your environment

  • AltTab version: 6.67.0
  • macOS version: 14.3

Nice, fastest bug resolution time I've seen in a while. Thanks!
