fix(test): keep the default Bun transpiler cache inside the test sandbox - #6805
Conversation
📝 WalkthroughWalkthroughThe changes isolate the default Bun transpiler cache within each test environment, add deadlines to selected synchronous child processes, and warm module graphs before selected subprocess tests. Claude Desktop integration tests improve HTTP status failure details and add coverage for native enablement with differing persisted and live modes. ChangesTest transpiler-cache isolation

✅ Deterministic PR hygiene checks passed. |
Own the default executable cache beneath the exclusive test root, preserve explicit overrides, and inherit the selected cache across nested homes. Cover cache permissions, independent lifetimes, legacy directories and links, and real Bun children. Warm the affected child graphs and bound synchronous children without extending their test deadlines. Keep the GUI typecheck gate in a dedicated serial lane and retain wp1's config drain in desktop fixtures. Co-authored-by: 김상훈 <luvs01@hanmail.net>

Move the pending performance evaluation to devlog/.
structure/ops/cross-platform-ci.md:80-81 should state only the current cache behavior. The cold Windows startup evaluation is still pending, so it is not part of the present structure contract. Keep the separate-cache statement here and record the evaluation task in an open devlog/_plan/ unit.

Summary
Carries the transpiler-cache part of #6783 by @luvs01 so it runs under repository CI. #6797 (merged) already carried #6783's retry-aware cleanup, the management-auth fixture extraction and the history-index close; this PR carries the rest, rebased onto
dev.The test runner pointed every run's Bun transpiler cache at one shared host-temp directory (
ocx-test-bun-transpiler-cache). Concurrent runs and different users shared executable cache entries, and nothing owned the directory's lifetime. The default cache now lives under the run's exclusively createdopencodex-test-*root, in a directory created with mode 0700 on POSIX, and is removed with that root. Nested fixtures inherit their owner's cache; independent runs get their own. ExplicitBUN_RUNTIME_TRANSPILER_CACHE_PATHoverrides, including empty and"0", are preserved, and the old shared directory is neither adopted nor deleted.Harness changes that isolated (cold) caches exposed, also from #6783:
cold-spawn-warmuphelper without raising any timed assertion deadline;INTERNAL_DEADLINE_MSbounds on the GUI typecheck gate and release-version subprocesses, with explicit no-warm-up dispositions;expectStatuswrapper inclaude-desktop-first-party.test.tsthat attaches response bodies to status failures (the drain fix(test): drain ACL work and close history before Windows fixture removal #6797 added in that file is kept).Verification
bun test --isolate tests/ci-workflows/test-runner.test.ts -t 'transpiler cache': 3 pass / 6 fail with the old default path, 9 pass / 0 fail with the change.bun run typecheck, privacy:scan, structure:check, git diff --check: pass.dev(patch identical to the reviewed commit): typecheck, structure and the cache regressions (9/0) re-run and pass.codex-auth-context.test.ts:119(EPERM) andserver-xai-chat-reasoning-streaming.test.ts:45(EBUSY after an icacls timeout). Neither file is changed here; both are fixtures that remove their roots synchronously without draining async ACL work, a known Windows teardown family. Root cause and a proposed fix are tracked separately.Checklist
