• Cut a release-0.5 branch from the v0.5.1 tag.
• I turned on release protection for release* branch, requiring the PRs on these branches, no force push.
• This allows all cherrypicks to go through the CI job in case causing some issues.

Therefore the future workflow for dot release would be cherrypick to the release branch and create PR.
Creating release still requires creating the tag on the branch, as required by the CI automation.

Hope to bring a bit more organized.
