This is WIP, the test currently fails due to a lack of support of mix git headers / header-less diffs, e.g.:

diff --git ....
rename from ...
rename to ...
diff --git ....

this is supported, but:

diff --git ...
rename from ...
rename to ...
--- a/test
+++ b/test

isn't.
