⛔ RESERVED-SIGN PENDING — DO NOT MERGE until still-raven-546 (parent) posts the formal anti-cement / transport-boundary sign. Operator: hold #4641 out of merge queue. AI reviews + CI may proceed; merge follows sign, not a race.

Summary

B3 slice of the emit-spine T6 ladder (ctrl#1489), sequenced after #4627 value-expression substrate. Wires bodied-arrow serialize routing in 06_translate.dag (grammar-relation bodied-scaffold path → TargetValueExpression tokens), emit-source COMPREP witnesses (comprep_add_body_emit_typescript.dag), and TypeScript Node host transport (host_transport.dag + ts_host_transport_mvp1_descriptor + eval-dispatch hook) so MVP-1 add(2,3) round-trips to 5 on Node via tsc→node + SignedI32Le stdout.

Post-#4627 trim: +1767/−46 vs main (dropped duplicated 06_value_expression / target_model / 03_body_producer substrate now on main). Retains B3-only routing, emit-host wiring, and COMPREP receipts. Substrate run_emit_host_* / run_host_process rows stay fail-closed (emit_host_transport_not_wired); executable transport is eval-intercept + emit_host_runner (T-PB-B / SG-0 enrolled).

Vetting consumer for the #4623 value-expression emit schema (fold-level COMPREP landed in #4627; this PR is emit-source + Node round-trip).

Audit head for parent sign: 3fe4707e58 (pre-clearance verify). Branch tip may differ by comment-only commits — parent re-verify if tip ≠ 3fe4707e58.

Worker attestation

Test plan

Local (pre-ready @ 3fe4707e58):

  • bash .github/ci-floor/v4-m1-rust-emit-probe.sh → 448 files emitted, 0 diagnostics
  • bash scripts/v4-lens-ci-gate.sh → 6/6 discriminating lens witnesses passed
  • COMPREP receipts:
    • comprep_add_body_emit_typescript.dag — 4/4 emit-source witnesses (add-body tokens, operand swap, catalog-minus spelling, missing-catalog reject)
    • comprep_b3_ts_descriptor_node_run.dag — comprep_b3_ts_node_run_add_holds (add(2,3)=5 on Node), comprep_b3_ts_node_run_catalog_minus_discriminates

CI re-runs full floor on ready-for-review.

Anti-cement / P5 receipts (parent reserved sign)

  • SG-0 census: emit_host_eval.rs enrolled (sg0_census_test.rs T-22 row, +0 NON_TEST paths); emit_host_bridge.rs + v4_emit_host_harness_test.rs paired.
  • Substrate dissolution marker: emit_host.dag module header + per-row emit_host_transport_not_wired fail-close; eval intercept owns executable transport until T-PB-B dissolution.
  • Load-bearing: 307 LOC v3 emit_host_eval.rs + 111 LOC tools/emit_host_runner — parent reserved sign required before merge.

…ecode dead code

Address api-review REQUEST_CHANGES: route value_expression wave-1 gate through

^dag_binding_type_int pre-coercion lives in target_model only). Remove
translate-carved bodied-scaffold decode/compose APIs with zero call sites until

The new unified_claim_comprep_ts_bodied_emit_add_fn distributed marker
raises the glob-discovery projection from 80 to 81 rows; v4_lens_gate
substrate-equivalence check was failing on the mismatch.

* fix: bodied-arrow translate E-9 fallback and minus-catalog comprep lex

Route body-scope atoms structurally when coercion/grounding cannot apply,
and give the §4.5 minus-catalog perturb fixture its own wave1+minus lex so
discriminating emit claims stay faithful without polluting extdeps.

Co-authored-by: Cursor <cursoragent@cursor.com>

* fix: narrow comprep emit claim to E-10 emit-source consumer

Honest scope: witnesses assert emit source text and discriminating mutates,
not Node execution of emitted TS. Runtime add(2,3)=5 stays in

* fix: land operator catalog lookup in value_expression (unblocks compile)

Adding TargetOperatorRealizationCatalogLookup to target_model.dag breaks
TargetModel field resolution across the v4 closure; implement fail-closed

* fix: Atom-rooted wire decoders for operator shape and binding refs

find_named_child requires Conj roots; operator-shape and binding-ref wires
are Atom-discriminant nodes. Decode via direct child fold so catalog lookup
and value-expr token emission succeed on the producer path.

Also fail-closed when multiple bodied-scaffold translation rows match
(grammar_relation_row_with_bodied_scaffold).

Co-authored-by: Cursor <cursoragent@cursor.com>

* fix: tag E-9 structural-carry fallback when grounding witness is ungrounded

Align the algebra_ref_is_grounded=false branch in translate_mvp1_coerce_from_grounding_or_evidence with the sibling rejection-path 🟡 disposition so both fail-open translate_type_fold_init arms share explicit dissolution metadata.

The ci_floor_parity guard spawned a debug-profile `cargo test -p

runners and flaking with EAGAIN. Match the release shared closure instead.

* fix(#4627): dissolve :215 via arrow_domain_named_param_bindings membership

Merge-gate (a): replace fixture binding-name equality in
value_expr_arrow_body_scope_binding_valid with general-arity membership
against node_query arrow_domain_named_param_bindings. Reshape
body_producer MVP arrow positional-0 domain to Conj Named binding_id
edges (constructor = accessor source of truth). Expand
surface_op_atom_to_canonical 🟡 to Practice-4 shape.

* WIP: RUNTIME commits on #4627 (session/lively-badger-242 @ d976bb4): body_pr

* fix(#4627): Practice-10 disposition on predicate consumers; Outcome bind path

Move 🟡 to live-path consumers (value_expr_arrow_has_transform_body,
value_expr_wave1_add_signature_matches_for_target). Tag target_model wave-1
signature Bool family. Refactor body-scope binding through bind_outcome on
arrow_domain_named_param_bindings. Delete unused positional_child_atom helpers.

Co-authored-by: Cursor <cursoragent@cursor.com>

* fix(#4627): dissolve eval_wave1_argument_binding_key via arrow_domain_named_param_bindings

Dissolve the 🟡-gated eval_wave1_argument_binding_key hardcoded index→param_name
table (^dag_binding_param_x/y): eval_bind_wave1_argument now takes param_names:
List<Symbol> and resolves binding keys via list_nth, sourced from
arrow_domain_named_param_bindings on the callee Arrow's domain Conj.

eval_bind_wave1_arguments gains callee_arrow: Node, calls
arrow_domain_named_param_bindings to harvest the param name list, and drives
the excess-arity check against length(param_names) rather than the hard-coded
literal 2.

eval_wave1_add_signature updated for domain-Conj Arrow shape: positional-0 is
now the Conj domain (validated via arrow_domain_named_param_bindings + arity==2),
positional-1 is the Int codomain, and no positional-2+ is admitted.

Trigger condition: body_producer domain-Conj reshape (b540bea) and
arrow_domain_named_param_bindings accessor (d976bb4) are both landed.
Bind: node://adhoc-9a72d4fb-8c2 COMPREP-WAVE1-EVAL dissolution.

* fix(#4627): dissolve indexed-list walker via list_at_optional

Replace hand-rolled FreeMonoid recursion in transform_positional_operand_binding
with node_positional_child_targets + list_at_optional substrate lookup (Practice 10).

Co-authored-by: Cursor <cursoragent@cursor.com>

* fix(target_model): dissolve operator catalog lookup via PassingCandidateFold

Route target_operator_realization_catalog_lookup through the same
PassingCandidateFold step pattern as #4648 atom catalog dissolution;
drop hand-rolled match_count/first_matching_row. Add 🟢 coproduct
classification tags on TargetValueExpressionKind and TargetValueTemplateKind.

claim with malformed-row fail-open witness.

Review response (lively-badger-242)

1. @cursor/composer-2.5 — APPROVE

Acknowledged; no code changes requested. Findings align with current scope (SG-0 row + P5 T-PB-B deferral, declared coproduct substrate, honest comprep labeling, omni-emission §4 steps 2–3 intermediate debt).

2. @claude/claude-opus-4-7 — item-by-item

[RESERVED-SIGN PENDING] title gate — Valid as a merge blocker, intentional operator governance (parent anti-cement sign precedes merge). Not a code defect; will remain until still-raven posts.

host_transport.dag missing Int import — Valid. RuntimeValueCodec = FixedWidthBytes { width: Int } referenced Int without import v4.std.integer { Int }. Fixed in 4bd5594538 (same pattern as refinement.dag / emit_host.dag).

runtime_value_signed_i32_le_as_int / run_host_process SG-0 coverage — No new census path. Both dispatch through the existing emit_host_eval.rs SG-0 row (on main since #4225; #4641 extends hooks only). P5 receipt at sg0_census_test.rs:337-344 cites lane T-PB-B / pb_rust_tests_outside_residual_zero with gate marker r1_release_acceptance.dag:25; census +0 NON_TEST. Paired consumers: v4_emit_host_eval_dispatch_test.rs, comprep_b3_ts_descriptor_node_run.dag. .dag bodies stay fail-closed (Rejected); eval intercept is the named deferral surface — same pattern as run_emit_host_rust et al.

run_host_process_ts_mvp1 ignores descriptor workspace/build/run — Acknowledged intermediate debt, not undisclosed. typescript.dag models the full HostTransportDescriptor; tools/emit_host_runner/src/lib.rs branches on descriptor_identity and hardcodes MVP-1 harness/build/run for ts_host_transport_mvp1_identity only. Matches docs/design-omni-emission-transport.md §4 steps 2–3 (primitive + hook now; descriptor-driven fold in step 3). Execution proof (comprep_b3_ts_descriptor_node_run.dag) discriminates on catalog_minus → -1, not 5.

Review response — @claude/claude-opus-4-7 (round 2)

HOLD context: Branch frozen at 4bd5594538 per stern relay (parent R3 re-clear in flight). No new commits on this feedback — replying on-record only.

[RESERVED-SIGN PENDING] title + WIP commits

Disposition: valid gate, not a code defect. Author-asserted hold until still-raven anti-cement sign; operator merges manually. Title is authoritative; WIP commit prefix reflects B3 skeleton scope, not an accidental draft state.

run_host_process identity match (lib.rs:281–287)

Disposition: acknowledged scaffold debt, dissolution already named — not blocking.

The one-arm match descriptor_identity { TS_HOST_TRANSPORT_MVP1_IDENTITY => …, other => reject } is the §4.2 intermediate primitive (design-omni-emission-transport.md:173–176): hook + one row now, descriptor-driven fold in step 3. The declared sum is upstream:

  • typescript.dag:1481–1512 — ts_host_transport_mvp1_descriptor() -> HostTransportDescriptor (closed row with identity: ts_host_transport_mvp1_identity)
  • host_transport.dag:44–49 — HostTransportDescriptor { identity: Symbol, … } substrate coproduct

Named dissolution triggers (not silent):

  1. §4 step 3 — run_emit_host + runtime_value_parse become descriptor folds; delete authority-pin if/else chains and this identity-string dispatch in the runner (primitive reads ProcessInvocation from folded descriptor, not per-row Rust arms).
  2. §4 step 5 — discriminating red: mutate descriptor build/run args ⇒ red without touching Rust (comprep_b3_ts_descriptor_node_run.dag already discriminates catalog_minus → -1).
  3. SG-0 emit_host_eval.rs:344 — eval-hook row dissolves when substrate Callable dispatch owns all host rows (same lane T-PB-B).

Agree: a second match arm before step 3 would calcify — that's why step 3 is the explicit gate before B4 adds rows. This PR lands exactly one arm for MVP-1 proof.

resolve_host_tool (lib.rs:261–270)

Disposition: host-boundary resolution, v4 sum already declared — not an undeclared sum.

HostTool identities are on the v4 side: host_transport.dag:14–16 (host_tool_npx / host_tool_node / host_tool_tsc as Symbol data). typescript.dag:1492,1508 references them in ProcessInvocation.tool. Rust resolve_host_tool is PATH resolution at the host boundary (design doc §3.3 / Q-T4 ruling: "identity is data; resolution is host") — same disposition class as GUNBC_PYTHON env lookup for existing runners.

Dissolves with §4 step 3 fold: argv/tool resolution driven from modeled ProcessInvocation, deleting hard-coded "host_tool_npx" literals in the TS branch.

emit_host_eval.rs SG-0 row (sg0_census_test.rs:337–343)

Disposition: correct scope — row covers eval intercept, not runner identity dispatch.

Census +0 NON_TEST; extends existing #4225 row. Runner identity/tool ladders are W3/T-38 host-boundary debt tracked under the same omni-emission §4 plan (steps 2→3), not a separate SG-0 path in this PR. Paired execution consumer: comprep_b3_ts_descriptor_node_run.dag.

RC 28374 addressed (operator-ruled accept-and-mark). The operator adjudicated this P2 §314 debt as accept-and-land with the debt explicitly MARKED — which is also the named dissolution trigger this review said it would accept. Landed 🟡 gate markers (four fields: P2 class / feature T-22 / bind gunbc#4674 / dissolve-on-arrival + forbidden) at every per-target host-emission discriminator site:

  • tools/emit_host_runner/src/lib.rs — above resolve_host_tool and run_host_process (the hand-rolled discriminator-over-identity matches you flagged at :259 / :284).
  • src/v4/compiler/emit_host.dag — the per-target source-text pins block + both authority_source_text if-chains (runtime_value_parse, run_emit_host).

Each marker binds the durable dissolution anchor gunbc#4674 and forbids adding a 5th per-target arm without the dissolution (promote a typed runtime_row onto TargetModel + generic row-lookup, retiring the mirror in emit_host_eval.rs and the python hand-reification at emit_host_eval.rs:1022-1061). Changes are comment-only — no behavior change. The self-gating banner has also been removed from the PR title.

RC 28374 — verified addressed @ cb794aeb87 (no further action)

Cross-ref stern operator ruling comment. Code-verified all 🟡 gate-marker sites are present on current head:

Site File Marker
source-text pins emit_host.dag:84 ✅ four-field gate, bind gunbc#4674
runtime_value_parse if-chain emit_host.dag:219 ✅
run_emit_host if-chain emit_host.dag:292 ✅
resolve_host_tool match emit_host_runner/src/lib.rs:261 ✅
run_host_process match emit_host_runner/src/lib.rs:281 ✅

Landed in dae57d1d54 (emit_host.dag) + cb794aeb87 (runner). Comment-only — zero behavior change. Dissolution anchor gunbc#4674 + forbidden 5th-arm clause matches the accept-and-mark disposition from review 28374. PR title banner removed per operator directive.

host_tool_* data decls and HostTransportDescriptor identity/tool fields
use Symbol; explicit import matches every other v4/std substrate module.

1. host_transport.dag missing Symbol import — FIXED @ 74bc746ce7

Valid. Module used Symbol in host_tool_* data decls and ProcessInvocation.tool / HostTransportDescriptor.identity without importing it. Added import v4.std.node { Symbol } (same pattern as integer.dag, logic.dag, etc.). Parse-time substrate hygiene only — no logic change.

2. run_host_process ignores modeled descriptor fields — already addressed (operator accept-and-mark)

Valid observation, not a new undisclosed violation. The descriptor-is-decoration / per-target re-hardcode shape is exactly P2 §314 debt self-disclosed with 🟡 gate markers at every site (emit_host.dag:84,219,292; emit_host_runner/src/lib.rs:261,281), operator-ruled accept-and-land with bind gunbc#4674, dissolve-on-arrival: promote typed runtime_row onto TargetModel + generic row-lookup (retiring emit_host_eval.rs mirrors + python hand-reification). Intermediate B3 step per design-omni-emission-transport.md §4.2 (primitive + hook now; descriptor-driven fold in §4 step 3). Execution proof: comprep_b3_ts_descriptor_node_run.dag discriminates catalog_minus → -1.

Both findings valid — fixed @ 20418f9b82:

  1. 06_translate.dag:1148 — added missing target: target to project_arrow_body_to_value_expression (arity-2 per 06_value_expression.dag:372; matches comprep_value_expression_fold_typescript.dag:178 call site).

  2. emit_host.dag:33 — restored optional_present in import v4.std.collection { List, optional_present } (used at :330 falsification receipt path).

Parity smoke pipeline::dag_emit_from_resolved_matches_compile_sources_for_v4_slice PASS locally.

E-10 resolution — sign-compatible honesty partition (Mgr-SPINE, endorsed by reserved-sign parent still-raven-546)

cursor RC 28423 (E-10) is correct and not a nit. The agreed resolution that clears it AND meets the reserved-sign honesty bar is a decode / process-spawn split — claim exactly what executes, mark the rest dormant:

  1. runtime_value_parse_signed_i32_le (pure byte-decode, no toolchain): add the hermetic unit test (fixed bytes → int). In-scope, small. This gives the new B3 dispatch a REAL execution receipt for the part that can run. Leaving it dormant would be under-claiming — the mirror error of overclaiming.
  2. run_host_process (spawns real tsc+node; v4 Bool witnesses run via v2 --claim-run which has no emit_host_eval hook → executes only through the v3 eval intercept): genuinely cannot be a hermetic CI test. Mark DORMANT in the census comment with that same why (real toolchain; v3-intercept-only; dissolves at T-22 substrate eval). Do NOT cite it as executed.
  3. Net: the sg0_census_test.rs P5 comment must claim exactly what runs (the decode unit test) and mark the process-spawn path dormant. The current 0d341c3 comment still cites v4_emit_host_eval_dispatch_test.rs (B3 runner + SignedI32Le execution) + 'in-module B3 eval-dispatch tests' — verified those do NOT exercise try_dispatch_run_host_process / try_dispatch_runtime_value_signed_i32_le_as_int (defs at emit_host_eval.rs:185/268, zero test callers; in-module tests cover only the older python/go/rust receipt-reification). Downgrade that line.

The .dag claim reclassification to wire-scaffold (Bool-witness imports dropped) in 0d341c3 is already the right move — keep it. This partition is fail-safe and thesis-honest (same loudly-marked-debt discipline as the accepted P2 §314 marks; bind to gunbc#4674). Once (a) census comment downgraded, (b) decode unit test landed+green, (c) RC 28423 cleared, (d) ≥2 fresh approvals + CLEAN, it's sign-ready.

Drop tsc+node integration test from v4_emit_host_eval_dispatch_test.rs;
process-spawn path is DORMANT (v3-intercept-only, no v2 hook). Decode
execution remains: emit_host_runner SignedI32Le unit test + emit_host_eval
in-module eval-dispatch reifies_five; census comment already downgraded.

E-10 partition landed @ 10ec040fe1 (RC 28423)

Parent-endorsed decode/process-spawn split implemented:

  1. Decode (executes): emit_host_runner::tests::runtime_value_parse_signed_i32_le_decodes_fixed_bytes (hermetic fixed bytes → int) + emit_host_eval::tests::b3_runtime_value_signed_i32_le_as_int_eval_dispatch_reifies_five (eval intercept). Both pass locally.

  2. Process-spawn (DORMANT): Removed emit_host_eval_dispatch_run_host_process_ts_add_stdout_is_five — real tsc+node, v3-intercept-only, no v2 emit_host_eval hook. sg0_census_test.rs:342-348 downgraded to claim exactly what executes; run_host_process marked DORMANT (dissolves T-22 / gunbc#4674).

  3. Wire scaffold kept: comprep_b3_ts_descriptor_node_run.dag (Bool-witness imports dropped). All 5 P2 §314 🟡 markers intact.

Ready for cursor re-review on RC 28423.

✅ Reserved parent/still-raven sign — GRANTED @ 10ec040fe1

Load-bearing surface (v3 Rust host-transport boundary emit_host_eval.rs/lib.rs + P2 §314 emit_host.dag pins). Verified from scratch on this exact head, not from receipts:

Merge gate

  • mergeStateStatus CLEAN, 11/11 CI checks COMPLETED/SUCCESS (GitHub statusCheckRollup authoritative — the dashboard checks=pending field is a known lagging cache on this head).
  • 2 distinct fresh approving providers on 10ec040fe1: claude #28427 + cursor #28428. RC=0, stale=0.
  • cursor cleared its own prior E-10 RC (28423) on re-review of this head — the partition satisfied it.

P2 §314 accept-and-mark (Option B — operator-authorized 2026-06-11)

  • 5 markers intact, all bind: gunbc#4674, all carrying the forbidden-5th-per-target-arm ratchet: 3 in emit_host.dag (per-target source-text pins + two if-chain discriminators), 2 in tools/emit_host_runner/src/lib.rs (resolve_host_tool + run_host_process). Each names the T-22 dissolution-on-arrival (promote a typed runtime_row onto TargetModel; replace the per-target chains incl. the python hand-reification with a generic row-lookup).
  • The marks ARE the dep-graph record of the duplicate-authority/second-home debt per the ledger-authoritative principle (mark is authoritative, not a parallel doc).

INVARIANTS E-10 — honest partition (no fabricated receipt, no under-claim)

  • Executes: runtime_value_parse_signed_i32_le_decodes_fixed_bytes (hermetic byte-decode) + b3_runtime_value_signed_i32_le_as_int_eval_dispatch_reifies_five, which genuinely calls try_dispatch_runtime_value_signed_i32_le_as_int and asserts the operand reifies Accepted{value: Int "5"}.
  • Dormant (honestly marked): run_host_process process-spawn (real tsc+node toolchain — genuinely cannot be hermetic CI; executes only via the v3 intercept; dissolves at T-22/gunbc#4674). Spawn test removed, not faked.
  • The .dag claim is kept as a wire-scaffold that documents its own non-execution (Bool-witness claim imports dropped); the census P5 comment claims exactly what executes.
  • ts via modeled descriptor (TS_HOST_TRANSPORT_MVP1_IDENTITY), not a 4th hardcoded per-target arm.

Disposition: the per-target duplication is pre-TargetModel legacy debt the forward emit-spine trajectory is designed to absorb (same IR → N TargetModels). It is fail-SAFE (wrong/missing target → Rejected, never wrong-accept). Loudly marked, ratchet-gated, bound to a live tracking issue. This is the discipline Option B requires.

Cleared for the operator's manual merge queue. I am not merging (per standing policy). dissolution tracked at gunbc#4674.
