Summary

Splits the prior combined worksheet per main exploration §4.0f (PR #4091) operator revision:

Worksheet File Cases
A — Compute fabric docs/planning/v4-elastic-compute-fabric-worksheet-2026-05-30.md 1–8
B — Cache interface docs/planning/v4-elastic-cache-interface-worksheet-2026-05-30.md 9–19

The old combined path is a superseded stub pointing to A/B. Prior §8 on the monolithic doc is withdrawn pending fresh §8 on both deliverables.

Key modeling deltas (vs pre-split #4095):

  • B: CacheInterfaceFacts (authority) + CacheStoreView { facts } — not CacheStore as first authority
  • B: ArtifactIdentity<T> / BackendCacheKey / CacheKeyProjection<T>; lookup/write/miss semantics; KeyDerivationFacts; case 19 vendor evidence
  • A: WorkDemand.resources: ResourceEnvelope; ingress UpsertInputRef → ChangeSet ∩ selector → ArtifactRef
  • A: PerformanceReceipt / CostReceipt confidence + pricing fields
  • Both: no dsl cross-imports — compose only via ExecutionReceipt.output and CachedArtifactReceipt.producer

Test plan

  • Docs only
  • Modeling DFS Manager §10 on Worksheet A
  • Modeling DFS Manager §10 on Worksheet B

…heet

Authoritative worksheet for PR #4091 §4.0f/§4.0g: canonical type signatures,
falsification cases 1–15, parser gates, bottom-up srv1/srv2 landing order,
and explicit out-of-scope boundaries. Worksheet-only — no dsl/std landing.

Add GpuRequirement, CpuRequirement, PersistenceKind, NetworkEgressClass,
ToolchainCapability, and supporting enums referenced by §1.2–§1.4 / §7 /
falsification cases 5–7. Addresses dashboard cursor review on PR #4095.

Addressed cursor REQUEST_CHANGES in a73c7192c:

  • §1.2: CpuRequirement, GpuRequirement, ToolchainCapability (+ ToolchainEnvIsolation, BuildWrapperKind) — closes ResourceEnvelope / ExecutionSurface / §7 authority gaps.
  • §1.8: PersistenceKind, NetworkEgressClass, MemoryKind, StorageMedium, LatencyClass, GpuRuntime, ContainerRuntime, StorageMount, NetworkAddressability — every type referenced in §1.4 StorageDevice / NetworkInterface / falsification 5–7.

ComputeRequirement (WorkDemand.compute) and CpuRequirement (ResourceEnvelope.cpu) remain distinct named edges per exploration §4.0a; landing PR may prove projection if they collapse to the same fact bundle.

Close §1 catalog gaps for Phase B/C and falsification case 8 (P2).
Also land AvailabilityWindow, CostEstimate, AllocationReceipt,
ComputeLeaseWitness, CostClass, LogicalTime, CacheOutcomeSummary.

Addressed cursor REQUEST_CHANGES (second pass) in 966b85485:

  • CostModel — §1.3 (cost_class + rates: ProviderCostModel); satisfies ComputeSupplyFacts.cost (Phase B).
  • ProviderConstraint — §1.4 closed coproduct (HostJobserverFifo, SharedHomeRoot, MaxConcurrentRunners, OomBehavior); satisfies ComputeOffer.constraints and §7 ctrl-jobserver row.
  • DemandDimension — §1.5 closed enum (one variant per WorkDemand coordinate); satisfies MissingDemandFact / case 8.
  • Also declared AvailabilityWindow, CostEstimate, AllocationReceipt, ComputeLeaseWitness, CostClass, LogicalTime, CacheOutcomeSummary so §1.4–§1.6 have no orphan references.

Claude APPROVE on a73c7192c remains valid for worksheet scope; this commit only extends §1 authority completeness.

Single P2 authority for resource coordinates: WorkDemand.resources
holds cpu/gpu/memory/storage/network; drop duplicate top-level fields and
ComputeRequirement alias. Update DemandDimension and §5 cases 5–6.

Addressed cursor REQUEST_CHANGES in 91cec4e8b (P2 single authority for resource demand):

  • ResourceEnvelope is now the sole carrier for cpu / gpu / memory / storage / network (record coordinates, not ComputeKind).
  • WorkDemand embeds resources: ResourceEnvelope plus OS/isolation/toolchains/parallelism/data_locality/effects — duplicate top-level resource fields removed.
  • ComputeRequirement dropped — only CpuRequirement remains (ResourceEnvelope.cpu).
  • §5 cases 5–6 and DemandDimension updated (DemandCpu, DemandGpu) so GPU falsification uses WorkDemand.resources.gpu.

Claude APPROVE on prior HEAD remains valid for worksheet-only scope.

Supersedes combined v4-elastic-compute-fabric-substrate-worksheet with:
- Worksheet A: compute fabric (cases 1–8), ingress chain, receipt confidence
- Worksheet B: CacheInterfaceFacts + CacheStoreView, cases 9–19, key projection

Withdraws prior §8 on combined doc; composition via ExecutionReceipt.output
and CachedArtifactReceipt.producer only (no cross-imports).

… graph refresh (#4096)

Reflects two state changes from 2026-05-31T06:28-07:04Z:

1. **#4091 elastic CI redesign MERGED** (squash c05a5a8, 07:04Z) — flips from "draft / exploration" to ratified substrate authority across §3.5 (P5 Layer 2 framing), §6 (blockers table), §6.5 (dispatch board priority 7), §7 (operator-gated decisions list), §8 (risk section), §9 (cross-refs), §10 (watchlist).

2. **Wave 2 TR-lane COMPLETE** — SG-6 #4085 MERGED 06:28Z (squash 2ac52f2); lively-eagle archived. Updates §6.5 priority 5 from "cursor RC" to "LANDED ✓ + Wave 2 TR-lane COMPLETE".

3. **proud-pike scope clarification (msg_6287177d)**: #4095 elastic compute fabric DFS worksheet is scoped to `dsl/std` + `v4.std` substrate vocabulary only (per #4091 §4.0f/§4.0g); explicitly out-of-scope for `ci.dag`/`ci.yml`/shell bridge deletion. Separate downstream §10.0 worksheet still required for structural-bridge replacement — the "first concrete CiUpsertStep replacement under #4091" per operator framing. §3.5 + §6 + §6.5 updated to reflect.

4. **Operator decisions resolved per #4094 review**: D3 (SG-RC vs SG-1b prioritization) = PARALLEL (proud-pike confirms separate sibling worksheet, not amendment); D5 (CI risk posture) = operational nuisance NOT merge-blocker until ci_v4 fail-rate climbs above ~1-in-3.

5. **sharp-otter M2 probe dispatched** as P2-B safety-net receipt (full corpus compile w/o bridge step) so operator has artifact when authorizing P2-B deletion.

No code paths changed; docs-only.

…ality

Worksheet A owned ComputeArtifactLocality so demand modeling does not
import Worksheet B's cache placement enum (cursor #4095 P2 boundary).

Addressed cursor REQUEST_CHANGES (review 22778): ArtifactLocalityRequirement no longer references PersistenceLocality from Worksheet B.

  • Worksheet A now defines ComputeArtifactLocality (compute-owned demand carrier) and uses it on ArtifactLocalityRequirement.
  • Worksheet B comment clarifies PersistenceLocality remains cache-store placement authority only.
  • §4 spot-fix + M9 map updated to forbid PersistenceLocality on compute demand types.

Fix commit: 3417911dc.

…isions resolved

Addresses cursor REQUEST_CHANGES on #4096:

1. §3.3 SG-6 row: in-review → merged (#4085 LANDED 06:28Z squash 2ac52f2; lively-eagle archived).
2. §5 Parallelizable workers: lively-eagle row updated to "LANDED + archived"; proud-pike row updated to reflect 3-parallel-front authoring (bridge + 2 child workers); deep-ferret marked ARCHIVED with respawn work-item adhoc-6b440f7f-6de noted.
3. §6 blockers table: removed stale "#4085 SG-6 cursor RC" row; SG-RC-LAYERING row updated to note PM-override-spawned child workers.
4. §3.3 state legend: added `merged` enum value.
5. §10 watchlist: split "decisions blocking" into "blocking" + "resolved this snapshot"; moved #4095-scope clarification, SG-RC-vs-SG-1b prioritization, CI risk posture, and #4091 ratification into resolved. Only P2-B authorization remains as blocking (with M2 probe receipt path in flight).

INVARIANTS.md P2 single-authority discipline restored: SG-6 receipt has one authority statement (LANDED) across all sections.

Per PM override (msg_9640253b) + proud-pike ack (msg_cdbe1925): 2 child §10.0 workers spawned (sharp-lark-878 SG-RC, sleek-badger-874 SG-1b) parallel with proud-pike's own bridge authoring + sharp-wolf #4095 review.
