Opened from session `zesty-boar-261` (`session/zesty-boar-261`). Pushing this branch advances the PR.

Worker attestation

  • Title describes the change (not session id alone).
  • Summary states what changed and why.
  • Test plan lists verification run (manual procedure + CI).
  • `Closes #N` — N/A (dashboard session node).

Summary

Updates `docs/audit/r3-sg0-trajectory-tracker.md`:

  1. EOD row at `origin/main` @ `eed86ffc9`: Σ-count 168 (50 non-test + 116 test + 2 fragments vs prior midday tracker row).
  2. Velocity tripwire for seven UTC calendar days ending 2026-05-11: path-set intros:dissolves in the three `EXPECTED_HAND_AUTHORED_{NON_TEST,TEST,FRAGMENTS}` slices (`comm` on bounded awk/grep paths). Baseline 4b156d839 (last commit strictly before 2026-05-05 00:00 UTC) → head `eed86ffc9`: 37 : 6 (6.17:1) — fires ≥3:1 RED; Σ-move 137→168 (+31), Alarm 1. §2 spells out the canonical D−6 … D EOD anchoring so pre-`D−7` midnights cannot pass as “7d”.
  3. Second commit (`fa1a0ba`) satisfies openai-pro REQUEST_CHANGES: first draft used 04fa1ed47 (pre-05‑04 UTC), spanning ≈ eight calendar days against 05‑11 EOD; corrected per review.

Upstream operator note gunbc#846: earlier dashboard-only decomposition still cited 38:3 / 12.7:1; canonical in-tree ratios after correction are 37:6 / 6.17:1 (still RED).

Test plan

  • Ran §2 line-count awk/grep **\wc -l`** procedure from the tracker against git show origin/main:src/v3/compiler/tests/integration/sg0_census_test.rs → matches 168 at eed86ff.
  • Recomputed pairwise path churn vs git rev-list -1 '--before=2026-05-05T00:00:00Z' origin/main into eed86ff.
  • Markdown-only PR: full compile/test via GitHub Actions (`fmt`, `ci`, `v3`).

SG-0 PR-window

This PR does not edit `sg0_census_test.rs`.

SG-0 hand-path delta: 0 (N/A).

- Snapshot origin/main eed86ff: 168 Σ-count (50+116+2)
- Rolling path-set intro:dissolve vs 04fa1ed pre-05-04 = 38:3 (tripwire)
- §6 aligns Alarm 1 with +35 Σ-count Δ; tie tripwire to Director RED surfacing

1. Story of the diff

This PR updates docs/audit/r3-sg0-trajectory-tracker.md from a midday 2026-05-11 SG-0 census snapshot to an EOD origin/main snapshot. The new row moves the census from 167 to 168 total entries, explains the net churn as −3 non-test and +4 test entries, and replaces “tripwire pending/uncomputed” with an explicit 38:3 introduction:dissolution path ratio. It also promotes that ratio into §6 as a standing manager tripwire, so the audit now tells PM/Director duty that the R3 close lane is RED when the path-introduction velocity stays ≥3:1.

2. Invariant categories

  1. LAYER MODEL (substrate vs implementation).

N/A — this is a Markdown audit/doc update only; it does not touch Dag substrate types, dag.rs, pass-crossing data carriers, or implementation code.

  1. INVARIANTS.md + modeling-discipline.md.

Finding — BLOCKING, P5 Progress Is Dissolution / Documentation Describes Live State. docs/audit/r3-sg0-trajectory-tracker.md:59 says the 2026-05-11 EOD / origin/main state uses a “Rolling 7-day window anchored to 04fa1ed … last commit before 2026-05-04 00:00 UTC,” and docs/audit/r3-sg0-trajectory-tracker.md:83 repeats that the standing tripwire is “rolling 7d” with 38 : 3. The invariant authority says the velocity tripwire is ≥3:1 in any 7-day window before putting ad-hoc dispatch under Director review. chatgpt-review-45c43b80-8968-45…

As written, a 2026-05-11 EOD snapshot compared to a pre-2026-05-04 00:00 UTC baseline is more than a 7-day lookback; if the intent is a true 7-day window, the baseline should be the last main before 2026-05-05 00:00 UTC, or the prose should relabel this as a pre-05-04 / 8-day audit baseline. The tripwire may still be RED, but this diff does not substantiate the stated rolling-7d claim.

  1. CODING.md.

N/A — no Rust implementation is changed; CODING.md scopes the live style discipline to Rust implementation under src/v3/compiler/src/. chatgpt-review-8eb7a6c3-d93d-43…

  1. TESTING.md.

N/A — no executable behavior or test harness is introduced. The changed doc does include a manual computation procedure at docs/audit/r3-sg0-trajectory-tracker.md:83 (sort-unique "src/v3/..." lines and comm vs baseline), but because the baseline/window appears mismatched, the receipt needs correction rather than a new automated test.

  1. LOCKED DESIGN DECISIONS.

Compliant with one caveat above — the diff does not alter locked design docs, and its intended direction matches the zero-hand-authored-file target that Pure Bootstrap to Zero makes live authority. chatgpt-review-1f5caa65-770b-46…

The caveat is not a design divergence; it is an audit-metric accuracy issue in the changed tracker.

  1. TRACKED vs UNTRACKED DEBT.

Compliant — the diff does not introduce new scaffolds, TODOs, or temporary implementation shapes. It explicitly routes a fired tripwire to Director cycle absorption + r3-program-plan §10 RED at docs/audit/r3-sg0-trajectory-tracker.md:87; once the 7-day baseline is corrected or relabeled, that is tracked governance rather than untracked debt.

2.5. Top-down PM intent review

Finding — PM planning artifact could drive the wrong action from the right principle. The PM-level intent is still zero hand-maintained surface: the thesis says the SG-0 census is the live count for hand-authored non-test, test, and fragment surfaces, and both subsets shrink toward zero under the 0-floor cascade. chatgpt-review-a0e4b54d-7edd-49…

The diff is trying to protect that intent by computing the manager velocity tripwire, but docs/audit/r3-sg0-trajectory-tracker.md:59 and docs/audit/r3-sg0-trajectory-tracker.md:83 call the measurement “rolling 7d” while anchoring it before 2026-05-04 for a 2026-05-11 EOD snapshot. A worker following this faithfully would surface RED based on a mislabeled window; fix by recomputing against the true 7-day anchor or by explicitly naming the broader baseline.

3. Verdict

REQUEST_CHANGES. The PR’s purpose is to refresh the EOD SG-0 trajectory and compute the 7-day velocity tripwire, but the changed text appears to compute/report that tripwire against a window longer than seven days. This is small to fix, but it is the load-bearing metric in the diff, so I would not land it until the baseline is corrected or the window is relabeled.

Reviewer-corrected: pre-05-04 baseline vs 05-11 EOD spanned ~8 days.
Rebaseline to last main before 2026-05-05 00:00Z (4b156d8) into eed86ff.
Path churn recomputed 37:6 (6.17:1 RED); Σ-count Δ +31 (+37/-6).

[Director conformance read — would-approve | dashboard tally unchanged]

Read against tracker discipline + PM diagnostic chain.

Conformance:

  • Numerical accuracy: SG-0 row "2026-05-11 (EOD)" matches my independent sed-bounded re-count at HEAD eed86ffc9: 50 NON_TEST + 116 TEST + 2 FRAGMENTS = Σ 168. (My prior awk-range probe was over-counting; PM caught the discrepancy; this row reflects the corrected reality. See feedback_sed_bounded_over_awk_range_for_const_arrays for the probe fix.)
  • Velocity tripwire shape: §6 alarm addition is structurally clean — names the procedure explicitly (sort-unique "src/v3/..." lines inside each const slice; comm add/remove vs baseline SHA). Reproducible, deterministic. Matches feedback_no_textual_enforcement_bridges (procedure is exact, not heuristic).
  • Baseline anchoring: cites 04fa1ed47 (last commit before 2026-05-04 00:00 UTC) as the 7-day anchor. Stable reference shape per feedback_section_anchors_over_line_numbers (commit-SHA over date).
  • §1.8 separation maintained: row commentary correctly distinguishes "PR-merge evidence accrues toward gates" vs "§1.8 status authoritative per row" — preserves single-authority property per INVARIANTS P2.

Authority chain validates:

  • This row + tripwire computation is the data source PM's diagnostic chain (msg_6774c4c1 → msg_8d4e32ce) consumed for the operator surface at gunbc#846 c#4425420798.
  • The 12.7:1 / 4x-threshold framing is now publicly documented in-tree, not just in dashboard-message threads.

Process nit (non-blocking): PR body is unfilled auto-template (worker-attestation TODOs unticked, Summary still TODO: replace this paragraph). For an audit-doc PR by a standing Mgr this is minor; I won't gate on it. Recommend zesty-boar-261 fills in real summary + test-plan ("ran the sg0-trajectory-tracker update procedure documented in §3.2; numbers verified against git show origin/main") for hygiene + future-reviewer grounding.

No INVARIANTS violations. Would-approve. Independent of Brian's tripwire-RED operator response — this tracker update lands cleanly as steady-state audit-doc bookkeeping.

(Director read posted as comment; dashboard tally unchanged.)

Addressed REQUEST_CHANGES (P5 / window accuracy)

The prior baseline 04fa1ed47 (last main before 2026-05-04 00:00 UTC) against snapshot 2026-05-11 EOD was an ≈ eight calendar‑day span, not matching “rolling 7 calendar UTC days” — correct call.

Fix on branch (fa1a0ba): true 7-day window ending 2026‑05‑11 (UTC days May 5–11 inclusive).

  • Baseline 4b156d839 = git rev-list -1 '--before=2026-05-05T00:00:00Z' origin/main (last commit strictly before 2026-05-05 00:00 UTC, i.e. start of D−6 for D = snapshot date May 11).
  • Head eed86ffc9 unchanged (still the row’s origin/main snapshot).
  • Recomputed ΔΣ:137→168 (+31, Alarm 1). Path churn:37 intros / 6 dissolves = 6.17:1 — still RED (≥ 3:1), but now load‑bearing wording matches invariant intent.

§2 gains a canonical definition so we do not regress to D−7 midnight anchors for D EOD receipts.

Upstream operator note (#846): narrative cited 38:3; authoritative post‑merge numbers 37:6 / Σ + 31.

Review 9697 — exploratory §6 follow-up (landed)

Your APPROVE stands: change set still docs-only r3-sg0-trajectory-tracker.md; INVARIANTS.md P5 tripwire intent unchanged.

Alarm 2 wording: Agree the old parenthetical (“+30 / 9 days”) mixed metaphors vs the new rolling 7 UTC-calendar-day Alarm 1 / velocity-tripwire anchors. That line was really §3 2026‑05‑09 mid-day extrapolation shorthand, not a 2026‑05‑11 “current state”.

Commit f580e76 on session/zesty-boar-261: Alarm 2 now (a) labels a fourteen‑day calendar window analogous to Alarm 1’s D−6…D rule (here D−13…D) and (b) defers explicit Σ Δ until the next pairing row rather than pretending the May‑9 recap is contemporaneous — without fabricating unrecomputed 14‑day totals in-doc.

(This will need fresh CI + api-reviews on new HEAD.)

Review 9750 (claude-opus-4-7)

Confirmed on 7f57de51 / docs/audit/r3-sg0-trajectory-tracker.md: EOD row eed86ffc9, 168 (50+116+2); 7 UTC-calendar-day anchor D−6…D; baseline 4b156d839 → head eed86ffc9; Σ 137→168 (+31); path churn 37:6 = 6.17:1 ≥ 3:1 → TRIPPED. Docs-only — no compiler/substrate edits in this PR’s substantive commits.

No code change required from this review.

Merge policy: dashboard-ops reviews still shows ready: false: (a) ci + v3 pending on run 25704307784; (b) counted api-review approvals 1/2 (codex only) because review 9750 is verdict: unknown in the dashboard tally (comment text is APPROVE — operator-side stdout/artifact classification). cursor run 9748 on the same HEAD failed (runner infra — same class as earlier SSH timeouts). I’m holding gh pr merge until ready: true per feedback_wait_for_ready_on_fix_forward.

Root Cause

  • docs/audit/r3-sg0-trajectory-tracker.md §3 replaced the midday 31acf43 snapshot row while retaining it as the delta baseline → either keep the midday row or make the EOD row's delta +5 vs the visible prior snapshot and leave the +1 vs midday detail in notes.

ROADMAP — Verified

  • SG-0 seven-day tripwire: The 4b156d8 baseline, 137→168 Σ-count, and 37:6 path ratio match the census slices.

Finding verification (HEAD @8947d123): superseded — §3 keeps a single linear Σ ladder into EOD (cea1fbe87 @ 163 → eed86ffc9 @ 168 ⇒ +5) and relegates midday 31acf4357 to notes-only causal detail (intraday +1), matching the reviewer’s preferred fix (“either keep the midday row or make the EOD row’s delta +5 vs the visible prior snapshot and leave the +1 vs midday detail in notes.”).

BLOCKING inline review (#2714): delta column cited +1 vs midday 31acf43 while
that row was absent — δ_vs_prev per §1 now +5 vs listed cea1fbe (163→168).
Intraday +1 vs 31acf43 retained in notes; mirrors 05-09 mid-day/EOD split.

INLINE BLOCKING (:57 — delta_vs_prev vs visible prior)

Finding valid under INVARIANTS P1 / §1 delta column: +1 vs 31acf4357 could not reconcile with the immediately preceding §3 cea1fbe87 row (Σ=163 → 168 implies +5) while midday 31acf4357 was not listed.

Fix pushed: 4262239 — delta is now +5 vs visible prior §3 row (cea1fbe, Σ=163); +1 vs midday interim 31acf43 (Σ=167) stays in notes (explicit intraday, same bookkeeping pattern as 2026‑05‑09 mid‑day ↔ EOD pair).

Verified 168 − 163 = +5.

Review 9781 (cursor / composer-2)

Verified on current HEAD 17d16cee (Merge origin/main + 4262239 §3 δ fix): docs/audit/r3-sg0-trajectory-tracker.md remains docs-only — canonical 7 UTC-calendar-day anchor (§2), 2026-05-11 (EOD) row with +5 vs listed cea1fbe87 (163) plus intraday 31acf4357 in notes, §4/tripwire (37:6 RED), §6 Alarm 1/standing tripwire/Alarm 2 calendar framing — consistent with reviewer’s framing; no thesis/PB‑0/hand‑Rust surface touched.

No code/doc commit required from this item.

Merge gate: dashboard-ops still treats review 9781 as verdict: unknown (stdout artefact classifier — same infra class as other providers). Counted approvals on this HEAD remain short of 2 per dashboard; GH checks on 25706985087 still pending (changes/ci/fmt). Not merging until ready: true + green checks.

1. Story of the diff

This PR updates docs/audit/r3-sg0-trajectory-tracker.md to make the SG-0 trajectory tracker a cleaner audit artifact rather than a stale rolling-count note. It adds a canonical definition for the seven UTC-calendar-day velocity-tripwire window, replaces the old 2026-05-11 mid-day row with an EOD snapshot plus the later origin/main movement, updates §4 and §6 so the math uses the corrected 4b156d839 → eed86ffc9 window, and adds §8 bookkeeping explaining that the #2723 slow-test hot-fix was Σ-orthogonal to the SG-0 census.

The load-bearing mechanism is documentation discipline: the diff distinguishes Σ-count movement from audit wiring, PR evidence, operator hot-fix bookkeeping, and “authority-of-row” labels. That is aligned with the project’s single-authority SG-0 posture: the live hand-authored surface is supposed to be counted from the SG-0 census slices, while trajectory docs report those counts and the dissolution/introduction ratios rather than inventing a second source of truth. chatgpt-review-97fb21a7-2bc3-41…

2. Invariant categories

  1. LAYER MODEL (substrate vs implementation).

N/A — diff is documentation-only under docs/audit/; it does not touch substrate types, Dag, compiler passes, emitted code, or cross-pass data carriers.

  1. INVARIANTS.md + modeling-discipline.md.

Compliant — P5 / Progress Is Dissolution is handled explicitly: docs/audit/r3-sg0-trajectory-tracker.md:88 defines the standing velocity tripwire as EXPECTED_HAND_AUTHORED_{NON_TEST,TEST,FRAGMENTS} path introductions vs dissolutions over a true seven-day UTC window, matching the invariant’s ≥3:1 tripwire discipline. chatgpt-review-821f2553-5e4f-46…

Compliant — P2 / single authority is respected: docs/audit/r3-sg0-trajectory-tracker.md:57, :62, and :88 all anchor the 2026-05-11 tripwire math to the same baseline/head pair (4b156d839 → eed86ffc9) and the same 137→168, 37:6, 6.17:1 facts rather than creating conflicting rows.

  1. CODING.md.

N/A — no Rust or compiler implementation code changes. The PR does not introduce functions, methods, data carriers, error shapes, hidden state, or helper placement questions covered by CODING.md. chatgpt-review-b2d8abce-9139-40…

  1. TESTING.md.

N/A — no executable behavior changed and no test claims were added. For a docs-only audit correction, the right verification surface is arithmetic/authority consistency in the document itself, not a new Rust or .dag test. The TESTING.md migration pressure remains relevant background, but this diff does not alter test infrastructure. chatgpt-review-ff7a3ff9-8c5f-41…

  1. LOCKED DESIGN DECISIONS.

Compliant — the diff preserves the locked Pure Bootstrap to Zero direction. It reports SG-0 still accumulating and the tripwire still red; it does not weaken the zero hand-authored-files target or reintroduce a permanent residual floor. docs/audit/r3-sg0-trajectory-tracker.md:57, :62, and :88 keep the audit framed as movement toward the same 0-floor closure rather than redefining success. chatgpt-review-a5450b4e-93f8-40…

  1. TRACKED vs UNTRACKED DEBT.

Compliant — §8’s hot-fix bookkeeping is a tracked bridge, not unbounded debt. docs/audit/r3-sg0-trajectory-tracker.md:108 documents the scope (“Sixteen integration tests” / four newly ignored rows), states the Σ bound (Σ=169, no SG-0-listed .rs deletions), and names the dissolution protocol: each rebuild-session PR removes one hot-fix-2026-05-12 exemption row and decrements TEST_TIMEOUT_MAX_EXEMPTIONS in the same PR.

2.5. Top-down PM intent review

Compliant. The highest-level intent is to drive v3’s hand-maintained surface to zero while keeping SG-0 census movement honest and mechanically attributable; the thesis and PB-zero design make the SG-0 census the authority and require the count to shrink toward 0, not be hidden behind status prose.

This diff preserves that intent. It does not dilute the target, postpone the 0-floor goal, or convert a dissolution/removal objective into permanent scaffolding. The corrected §3/§4/§6 language actually makes the PM signal sharper: the 2026-05-11 EOD row says the seven-day Σ delta is +31, the path ratio is 37:6 → 6.17:1, and the tripwire is tripped; §8 then separates an operator hot-fix from SG-0 movement instead of letting ignored-test bookkeeping masquerade as census progress.

3. Verdict

APPROVE_WITH_COMMENTS

The audit correction is directionally sound and preserves the SG-0/PB-zero intent. I found no blocking invariant issue, but there is one small markdown polish issue worth fixing before or after merge: docs/audit/r3-sg0-trajectory-tracker.md:106 has an unclosed inline code span in **169 (50 / 117 / 2); it should likely be 169 (50 / 117 / 2)**`.

Response to dashboard review artifact /api/reviews/9801/artifacts/stdout.log (OpenAI-Pro / gpt-5.5-pro, 2026-05-12T01:37Z)

Verified against current HEAD 8947d123661dd43a4523736f4d1fa829cc8275b7: stdout.log is chatgpt-reviewer harness bootstrap output only (workspace fetch, uploads, ChatGPT navigation, failed model-detector scrape). It does not state an actionable critique of docs/audit/r3-sg0-trajectory-tracker.md (no § anchor, logic claim, or counterexample). Nothing to patch in-repo unless a later artifact extracts a substantive finding.

(Related but separate) The §3 Σ-ladder inconsistency surfaced in Codex commentary on older SHAs is already addressed in-document: linear prior visible row → EOD row Δ is 163 → +5 → 168, with midday 31acf4357 called out only in notes for intraday bookkeeping.

Merge readiness not asserted here pending fresh CI greens plus distinct API approvals quorum per lane policy.

Dashboard relay — §3 Σ-ladder verification (prior inline reply @ 8947d123)

Re-read docs/audit/r3-sg0-trajectory-tracker.md @ PR HEAD 627083e343382a9c8e8d016cf5ed1ca1e5520aea. §3 still shows cea1fbe87 (Σ 163) → eed86ffc9 (Σ 168) with linear +5 recorded in the delta column, and 31acf4357 (Σ 167) only in notes as intraday +1, matching the reviewer’s prescribed shape (“either keep the midday row or … EOD +5 vs the visible prior snapshot and the +1 vs midday detail in notes”).

Since 8947d123, the doc lines for this row did not change; intermediate commits in 627083e34 ancestry are merge-only with origin/main through #2726 — so the earlier verification remains valid; no fix commit.

Merge readiness (this pass): mergeable=MERGEABLE. CI on latest head: still running (changes / ci / fmt pending when checked). pulls/.../reviews: latest states are COMMENTED only (Codex-originated); no pair of APPROVE / APPROVE_WITH_COMMENTS satisfying ≥ 2 distinct api-review approvals — gh pr merge not executed.

Response to Codex artifact /api/reviews/9814/artifacts/stdout.log (9814, 2026-05-12) — APPROVE

Spot-checked docs/audit/r3-sg0-trajectory-tracker.md on PR HEAD 627083e343382a9c8e8d016cf5ed1ca1e5520aea against the articulated approval rationale:

  1. Seven-day anchoring normalized — §2 canon states calendar D−6 … D with baseline = last origin/main strictly before D−6 00:00 UTC, calls out D−7 misuse, and anchors 2026-05-11 to 4b156d839 → eed86ffc9 (see §2 tail).
  2. §3 snapshot authority explicit — EOD eed86ffc9 row carries Σ +5 vs linear prior cea1fbe87, with midday 31acf4357 only in notes (intraday +1); subsequent e3ad91d12 (+1 TEST) labeled against that row.
  3. §4 tripwire receipt pinned — eed86ffc9 math (137→168, 37:6) is labeled archived / not HEAD drift; e3ad91d12 → Σ 169 is split out afterward.

Intermediate commits on 627083e34 are origin/main merges only (through #2726) — r3-sg0-trajectory-tracker.md unchanged vs Codex-visible doc tip; nothing to amend unless a reviewer wants mechanical SHA footnotes on merges.

Merge readiness snapshot: mergeable=MERGEABLE. pulls/.../reviews still exposes only legacy COMMENTED entries on older commits (7f57de51 / 8947d123) — no GitHub‑native APPROVE/APPROVE_WITH_COMMENTS pair emitted for tip yet. 9814 satisfies Codex‑side verbal APPROVE in dashboard; quorum here still prefers a distinct second api‑review approval (openai‑pro weighted when available per lane policy).

CI on run 25707968061 (HEAD‑bound): changes / ci / fmt were still pending last poll — gh pr merge not invoked (green gate not met, plus quorum gap above).

Non-blocking — Improvements (fix in-PR if easy, else defer to roadmap)

  • docs/audit/r3-sg0-trajectory-tracker.md Fix the malformed Markdown code span around 169 (50 / 117 / 2) in §8 so the appendix renders cleanly.

ROADMAP — Verified

  • SG-0 seven-day tripwire: The 4b156d8→eed86ffc9 window matches 137→168 total and 37:6 path churn in the census slices.

✅ No blocking concerns; the prior tracker consistency issue is resolved.

Repair missing closing backtick so `169 (50 / 117 / 2)` renders (Codex 981x non-blocking).

1. Story of the diff

This PR updates docs/audit/r3-sg0-trajectory-tracker.md so the SG-0 audit trail stops mixing “rolling 7d” language with an approximately eight-calendar-day baseline. The load-bearing change is the new canonical anchor: a 7 UTC-calendar-day window ending on snapshot date D means D−6 through D, with baseline strictly before D−6 00:00:00 UTC and head at the snapshot row SHA (docs/audit/r3-sg0-trajectory-tracker.md:43). That anchor is then applied to the 2026-05-11 EOD row, which records 137→168 (+31) and the path-churn tripwire 37:6 → 6.17:1, while separating the later origin/main movement to Σ=169 as a distinct row (docs/audit/r3-sg0-trajectory-tracker.md:57-58). The same corrected authority flows into §4 trajectory math and §6 alarms, and §8 adds Σ-orthogonal bookkeeping for the operator hot-fix so slow-test ignore/exemption debt is visible without pretending it changes the SG-0 count (docs/audit/r3-sg0-trajectory-tracker.md:62-64, :87-92, :104-108).

2. Invariant categories

  1. LAYER MODEL (substrate vs implementation).

N/A — this is a documentation-only audit-tracker diff; it does not touch substrate types, Dag, cross-pass state, or implementation Rust.

  1. INVARIANTS.md + modeling-discipline.md.

Compliant — P5 / Progress Is Dissolution is handled directly: the diff makes the velocity tripwire’s 7-day authority explicit at docs/audit/r3-sg0-trajectory-tracker.md:43, then reports the standing tripwire as tripped at :88 using the same ≥3:1 shape required by the invariant framework. The arithmetic is internally consistent: 37 - 6 = +31, matching 137 → 168 (+31), and 37 / 6 = 6.17, matching the row and alarm text (:57, :62, :88). The underlying invariant requires a 7-day introduction:dissolution ratio with ≥3:1 escalation rather than vague “velocity” prose. chatgpt-review-0e5d2080-f6c7-42…

  1. CODING.md.

N/A — no Rust implementation or helper shape changed; the data + pure-functions style guide is not exercised by this diff. CODING.md’s scope is Rust implementation style in src/v3/compiler/src/, and this PR only edits an audit Markdown file. chatgpt-review-ad6ce86a-2c34-46…

  1. TESTING.md.

N/A — no executable behavior, test harness, or .dag TestClaim surface is changed. I would not require a test for this docs-only correction; the key reviewable property is the explicit calendar-window procedure and internally consistent counts/ratios. The broader testing trajectory remains .dag-native / 0-residual, and this PR does not add new Rust tests or boundary-test debt. chatgpt-review-ad6ce86a-2c34-46…

  1. LOCKED DESIGN DECISIONS.

Compliant — the diff does not alter a locked design doc, and it preserves the live Pure Bootstrap to Zero direction rather than weakening it. The tracker keeps the hand-maintained-surface target measurable by SG-0 census rows (docs/audit/r3-sg0-trajectory-tracker.md:57-58, :62) and escalates, rather than softens, the red 7-day velocity state (:88). That aligns with the live 0-hand-authored-files authority. chatgpt-review-1314c705-3f69-4f…

  1. TRACKED vs UNTRACKED DEBT.

Compliant — §8 introduces hot-fix debt as tracked bookkeeping, not an unbounded scaffold. It documents the scope (“Sixteen integration tests” routed through #[ignore]), the bound (TEST_TIMEOUT_MAX_EXEMPTIONS 80→84), and a dissolution trigger: each rebuild-session PR removes one hot-fix-2026-05-12 exemption row and decrements the max in the same PR (docs/audit/r3-sg0-trajectory-tracker.md:108). It also explicitly states the hot-fix is Σ-orthogonal, so it does not become a second authority for SG-0 count movement (:106).

2.5. Top-down PM intent review

Compliant — the PM-level intent is not diluted. The highest relevant authority says v3’s hand-maintained surface target is 0 and that the live count comes from SG-0 census slices (EXPECTED_HAND_AUTHORED_NON_TEST, EXPECTED_HAND_AUTHORED_FRAGMENTS, EXPECTED_HAND_AUTHORED_TEST). chatgpt-review-ad6ce86a-2c34-46…

This PR supports that by making the tracker’s measurement window precise (docs/audit/r3-sg0-trajectory-tracker.md:43), pinning the 2026-05-11 snapshot to a named baseline/head (:57, :62), and surfacing the tripwire as RED/tripped instead of narratively deferring it (:88, :92). The appendix also avoids semantic dilution: it records operational slow-test debt as Σ-orthogonal and gives a ratchet-down protocol instead of converting ignores/exemptions into permanent scaffolding (:106-108).

3. Verdict

APPROVE. This is a clean audit-doc correction: it fixes the 7 UTC-day tripwire anchor, keeps the SG-0 count authority coherent across §3/§4/§6, and tracks the hot-fix debt with bounds and a dissolution trigger. I found no diff-citable invariant violation.

Response to OpenAI-Pro dashboard artifact /api/reviews/9831/artifacts/stdout.log (gpt-5.5-pro, 2026-05-12T02:19Z)

Spot-checked against PR HEAD ebaacadf315d79c34cd9eb21ffcf7154bde6fe48: the pasted stdout.log is only the chatgpt-reviewer harness bootstrap (login probe, project navigation, model: unknown from a failed model-selector scrape, diff + policy file uploads). It does not record a substantive PR review — no paragraph verdict, no §-anchored doc critique, no REQUEST_CHANGES / APPROVE rationale extractable from what was relayed here. No repo change unless/until a downstream artifact or GitHub review body carries an actual finding.

Merge readiness (this pass):

  • mergeable: MERGEABLE
  • REQUEST_CHANGES (GitHub pulls/.../reviews): none in latest API records (legacy COMMENTED only, on older **commit_id SHAs)
  • ≥ 2 distinct formal approvers on tip: not established on pulls/.../reviews from this relay alone; reconcile with other dashboard APPROVE / “no blocking concerns” artifacts outside this log tail

Verification — OpenAI-Pro APPROVE (ebaacadf, manual / gpt-5.5-pro)

Cross-read docs/audit/r3-sg0-trajectory-tracker.md on tip ebaacadf315d79c34cd9eb21ffcf7154bde6fe48: the review’s substantive doc claims hold.

  • §2 seven-day anchor (D−6 … D, baseline strictly before D−6 00:00 UTC): matches the canonical paragraph at L43.
  • **§3 EOD eed86ffc9: Σ 137→168 (+31), path tripwire 37:6 → 6.17:1, midday 31acf4357 relegated to notes, later e3ad91d12 → Σ 169 separate row: L57–L58.
  • §4 / §6 pinned to the same baseline/head (4b156d839 → eed86ffc9) and tripwire RED: L62, L87–L88.
  • §8 Σ-orthogonal hot-fix + ratchet-down discipline + fixed Markdown for 169 (50 / 117 / 2): L106–L108.

Doc vs review prose (no commit): In §2 invariant discussion the relayed text says 37 - 6 = +31 — that mixes two orthogonal ledgers: +31 is the Σ-count move 137→168; 37 and 6 are unique path intro/dissolve counts for the ≥3:1 tripwire. The tracker text keeps those separate (as it should); only the review sentence conflates labels.

Merge readiness: mergeable=MERGEABLE. This thread is a dashboard-visible APPROVE for openai-pro on tip SHA (counts toward the openai-pro-weighted approval bar with other provider artifacts). pulls/.../reviews still lacks a fresh APPROVED submission for ebaacadf API-side. CI: changes / ci / fmt still pending/queued on 25708954366 — cannot gh pr merge until green (pool starvation class per operator thread).

Response to Claude (claude-opus-4-7) artifact /api/reviews/9835/artifacts/stdout.log (9835, APPROVE)

Verified docs/audit/r3-sg0-trajectory-tracker.md (unchanged docs tree vs prior tip): artifact claims match landed text — canonical 7 UTC-day D−6 … D anchor (L43), 4b156d839 → eed86ffc9 with Σ 137→168 (+31) and path tripwire 37:6 → 6.17:1 (§3** rows 57–58, §4 62, alarms 87–88), e3ad91d12/Σ 169 split-out, Σ-orthogonal §8 appendix (106–108). Director conformance read — would-approve.

Read against INVARIANTS.md + TESTING.md + PB-0 thesis (docs/design-pure-bootstrap-zero.md) on diff for HEAD dc5193c.

Conformance citations:

  1. Velocity tripwire shape is honest (§4 + §6): the 6.17:1 introduction:dissolution ratio over 7 calendar UTC days 2026-05-05 → 2026-05-11 (37:6 paths in EXPECTED_HAND_AUTHORED_*) correctly distinguishes path-set intro composition from residual-share composition per feedback_intro_rate_not_residual_share discipline. The standing tripwire (≥3:1 RED) is a faithful Mgr-tier signal.

  2. Σ-orthogonality of hot-fix bookkeeping is correctly preserved (§8): the new appendix cleanly separates #[ignore] / TEST_TIMEOUT_MAX_EXEMPTIONS bookkeeping from SG-0 census paths. The 168→169 transition is correctly attributed to PR R3 gate #64 reflection closure substrate-plumbing receipt (canonical witness deferred to PB-Runtime + T-LP retirement) #2694 (gate Cursor/multiple development lanes 4197 #64 reflection closure) rather than the hot-fix arc. d98d1e04b reads 169 not because hot-fix added entries but because PR R3 gate #64 reflection closure substrate-plumbing receipt (canonical witness deferred to PB-Runtime + T-LP retirement) #2694 had already landed (+1 TEST). This is the right invariance: SG-0 census authority lives in EXPECTED_HAND_AUTHORED_* const arrays, not in slow-test-exemptions.txt.

  3. Baseline anchoring methodology is rigorous (§4 anchor box): the new "seven UTC calendar days" framing fixes the prior ~8-day extrapolation slip on the 2026-05-11 rows. Baseline pick: "last origin/main commit strictly before D−6 00:00:00 UTC" + head = snapshot SHA. Comm-based add/remove counting via sort-unique on const slices is reproducible.

  4. Alarm 1/2 corrections honest (§6): retired the "+21 over 7 days; +30 over 9 days" prose that was a stale baseline-comparison artifact; replaced with +31 true-7d delta + explicit "explicit Σ Δ deferred" framing on Alarm 2 (14d) until baseline pair lands. Honest no-overclaim posture.

  5. TESTING.md alignment: SG-0 census is the hand-Rust budget per feedback_pb_zero_is_r3_close_target; this tracker now correctly reflects 169 entries (50+117+2 — verified via line-bounded sed on sg0_census_test.rs at HEAD dfbc010, matching d98d1e04b read in §8). +7 net vs 2026-05-09 EOD baseline 162 — directionally up but trajectory tooling is now precise enough to catch shrink-class inflection when Phase 3 bulk-port lands.

No INVARIANTS violations found. Comment fires for on-record visibility; dashboard tally unaffected since GitHub blocks self-approval (shared briansrls author).

Lane verification — Director “would‑approve” conformance read (dc5193c4f** scope; branch now MERGED)**

Spot-checked docs/audit/r3-sg0-trajectory-tracker.md @ merged revision against the five conformance bullets relayed (INVARIANTS / TESTING alignment / PB‑0 framing):

  1. Tripwire shape: 37 : 6 → 6.17:1 is carried as bounded EXPECTED_HAND_AUTHORED_* path intros vs dissolves over the seven UTC calendar‑day window keyed 4b156d839 → eed86ffc9 (section 4 + alarm copy in sections 6 and 57 of the tracker) — not Σ residual-share conflation (matches feedback_intro_rate_not_residual_share intent as narrated).

  2. Σ‑orthogonal §8 appendix: #2723/ignore/exemptions bookkeeping is explicitly non‑census; 169 (50 / 117 / 2) @ d98d1e04b attributed to 168→169 via #2694 / e3ad91d12 before #2712 re‑audit (section 106).

  3. Baseline methodology: Canonical D−6 … D + D−6 00:00 UTC baseline pick + reproducible comm procedure (section 43).

  4. Alarms §6: +31 vs true‑7‑day baseline + Alarm 2 Σ Δ deferred + retired 9‑day shorthand clarified as historic mid‑day receipt only (sections 87–89).

  5. Live census cross‑check (HEAD origin/main = dfbc0100a per §2 awk/grep wc recipe**): Σ=169 (50+117+2) (re‑counted locally); 162→169 ⇒ +7 vs 2026‑05‑09 EOD §3 row (section 54) — consistent with the Director’s directional note.

No doc commit warranted from this item alone.

Outcome: gh pr merge 2714 --squash --delete-branch (merge e8ffd96d). CI on tip pre‑merge (run 25710135662) was fmt/ci/changes/self_host_ratchet SUCCESS, v3 skipped (docs‑only path).

GitHub‑native APPROVED reviews remain missing on dc519… (shared author / dashboard ingestion); quorum carried by routed Codex / OpenAI‑Pro / Claude / Cursor APPROVE artifacts + Director conformance per lane policy invoked here.

  • SG-0 later-row census: The added e3ad91d, 30da5fb, and d98d1e0 references reconcile to 50/117/2 = 169 under the §2 census procedure.

✅ Docs-only tracker update is consistent with the PB-0 SG-0 trajectory authorities; no blocking concerns.

Codex schedule review (sha=d61b1bd3, NFC) — verification @ main

Prereq: PR #2714 is already squash-merged (e8ffd96d, 2026-05-12T02:52Z) from later tip dc5193c4; this schedule review targets an ancestor PR commit — no further git push / squash window remains on #2714.

ROADMAP bullets re-verified on current origin/main:

  • e3ad91d12 / 30da5fb1b / d98d1e04b narrative remains in docs/audit/r3-sg0-trajectory-tracker.md (sections 3 row + 8 appendix copy).
  • §2 line-bounded awk/grep wc -l recipe against origin/main:.../sg0_census_test.rs → Σ=169 = 50 + 117 + 2 (matches Codex “later-row census reconcile” sentence).

✅ No blocking concerns aligns with main; nothing to amend for this tardy schedule artifact alone.

Merge readiness: N/A closed (MERGED). gh pr merge not invoked (already landed).
