Halo around persona/animation. #84
Comments
I think I can try and fix this. |
Yup I can! I introduced myself on HF btw. :) How would you want me to send the fixed files over? I was also going to ask if I can help improve those animations....that is why I was curious who the artist was when I asked on HF. |
Hi, yes, I noticed :) You can send the images over in any format/way you'd like. The developer way would be to use version control (like git or svn) to upload the project file to the aog-assets repository, and the final in-game graphics to the Game\Graphics folder of the normal aog repository. Alternatively you can send the images over email, host them on an image hosting site (imgur, imageshack, imagevenue) or filehosting service (dropbox, google drive, skydrive, box.net, rapidshare, sendspace); and send me a link. You're very welcome to remix, extend, improve or create new content if you so like. |
Awesome! Quick question, is it possible to improve the animations by adding more frames? I wouldn't mind going in and extending them to make them look a bit smoother than 3 pictures. They are very good animations and I think I can definitely clean them up and smoothen them out. Here is a link to what I have done so far: http://www.mediafire.com/?ndav8v6gc9a37bt I removed all white halos for all of the dog and wolf animations/pictures. It trimmed the line work a tiny bit, but I think it came out fine. If anyone notices anything let me know. |
Thanks. There's no problem adding more frames. Most of the animation loops have something like a 5 frame delay (125ms) between animation frames, with the quicker loops using 3 frames (75ms), and the ending having a 10 frame delay (250ms). Max FPS is currently 40, but I hope you don't hit that. |
Several of the animations/images on screen have a white outline that shouldn't be there.
