- open PRs
- Timeline: Release within two weeks (19.08.2022).
- Afterwards: ~ 6 weeks later, release v2022.1.1
- Discussion about the PRs that are already in the v2022.1 milestone:
-
https://github.com/freifunk-gluon/gluon/pull/2365
- Since v2022.1 already bumps OpenWrt, we already change a lot.
- Therefore this feature is postponed to the v2022.1.1 in order to be able to differentiate issues.
-
https://github.com/freifunk-gluon/gluon/pull/2491
- Must become upstream in OpenWrt.
- This has been tested by [👤 NeoRaider]. But since then, the gcc version has been bumped. So it should be tested again.
- Since recent tests are missing, this will most likely not happen within the next two weeks.
-
https://github.com/freifunk-gluon/gluon/pull/2365
- Discussion about potential new PRs to this milestone:
-
https://github.com/freifunk-gluon/gluon/pull/2601
- It would be nice, if this is merged before the release, since then it would be included in the first wireguard release of gluon.
- The key translation is most effective, if no wireguard-keys have been generated yet.
- Consenus:
- Neoraider should review this PR, since he has the most insight into fastds crypto.
- Blocktrron would not like to delay the milestone for this PR.
- We would like to try to merge this before 19.08.2022 (if possible).
- If not, we will add a note to release note, that this package is about to come.
- It would be nice, if this is merged before the release, since then it would be included in the first wireguard release of gluon.
-
https://github.com/freifunk-gluon/gluon/pull/2599
- Should be sane, only needs testing.

- Release-Notes:
- https://github.com/freifunk-gluon/gluon/pull/2609
- Missing Parts:
- Wireguard ([👤 lemoer], [👤 aiyion])
- L2TP ([👤 blocktrron])
- Network Regeneration ([👤 blocktrron])
- Is there anything open from the ar71-xx -> ath79 migration?
- No, everything important has been done.
- There is this a limit that ath10k-ct only supports 32 clients.
- Let's discuss this.
- Probably this is patchable.
- Discussion result: It should be patched.
- Blocktrron will look into it.
- New issue was created: https://github.com/freifunk-gluon/gluon/issues/2604
-
https://github.com/freifunk-gluon/gluon/pull/2553
- This has been merged, since it touches only babel things.
-
https://github.com/freifunk-gluon/gluon/pull/2552
- Aiyion would like to handle the upgrade process downstream different from upstream.
- There are only two devices in Germany.
- Therefore, we would not like to maintain downstream patches here.
-
https://github.com/freifunk-gluon/gluon/pull/2596
- Nice to have.
- Merged.
