Will all the proposed changes be covered by the new system for translations + logic (mentioned in issue #947)? In that case, I'll close this pull request.

Is 1.8.0 the next planned release anyway? Otherwise, I think at least the two changes for "if you need a different number for %s, contact the developers, as a code-change is required" could be made - these do not require new translations.

Keep it open for now. I can use the code in the upcoming "German Relationship Name" module.

Is 1.8.0 the next planned release anyway?

The current plan is:

1.7.5 - very soon - I am waiting for new Albanian translator to complete his work. He is translating right now...

1.7.6 - end of July - a final release for PHP < 5.5.9.
After this, there will only be updates for translations and critical/security bugs.

1.8.0 - Update code to PHP 5.5, and start new development - including the relationship-name code.
This can start after 1.7.5 is released.
