On AllCoreDevs 137 call, @karalabe suggested a sync test where one of the clients is not fully synced by the time the TTD is reached.

The proposed test case in this PR is as follows:

Client 1 starts with chain G -> PoW1, Client 2 starts with chain G -> PoW1 -> ... -> PoW1024.
Block PoW1024 reaches TTD, and the Consensus Layer continues the PoS chain on top of this block.
Verification is made that Client 1 syncs the remaining PoW blocks, and also the PoS chain built on top of PoW1024.

Current client status:
Geth: Passing
Erigon: Correctly syncs the PoW chain, but none of the blocks beyond the TTD block is synced and test times out.
Nethermind: Unable to import the PoW chain when the second client starts.
