I see quite a few differences with PyTables-3.6.1-foss-2021a.eb. I'm sure you made them with good reason, but maybe you can elaborate a bit, or at least confirm that they were different on purpose. Differences I spotted:

• PyTables-3.6.1 used toolchainopts = {'usempi': True}
• PyTables-3.6.1 listed far fewer dependencies
• None of the items (except PyTables itself) in the exts_list was present in PyTables-3.6.1
