Welcome weary traveler! We know your sojourns across the Drupal.org hellscape have been tiresome and testing. So, please relax and let your soul be taken away to a higher place by some nice ease of use and amusing documentation.
If you are a PERSON OF ACTION and just want to get this party started we recommend you check out our Quickstart Guide. This tale of intrigue will captivate your heart and teach you how to go from Drupal Pauper to Drupal Prince(ss) in less than ten minutes. Well, if you are starting with Pantheon or Kalabox anyway. Otherwise you'll have to use the boring Setup and Install Guide like everyone else.
If you are still not sure whether you and Kalatheme are meant to be together for all time you might want to sit back and watch this nifty presentation of some of its features: http://video.mit.edu/watch/keep-theming-simple-with-panels-and-bootstrap...
If you want to learn more about how to build a best practices Kalatheme subtheme and leverage all of its amazing features you should check out our Best Practices and Features Guide. We also have fun docs about how to leverage custom and third party Bootstrap Libraries and how to use SASS with Kalatheme. Of course if you run into any problems along the way you can try the issue queue or our FAQ.
Finally, if you're a hands-on type learner, you may want to check out a LIVE DEMOSITE using Kalatheme (user: kala, pass: kala)
