chore(dashboard): sync the vendored CI UI Kit to 0.0.89 - #18957
CI is green, or every red check is inherited from the base.
Any dependency the kit added is already in package.json.

Hand-edited on top of the sync
The watch opened this for 0.0.88; it now carries 0.0.89 (upstream #156 and #157: light warning text at AA on every content surface, Classic #a05600, Editions #8a591c).
tests/unit/editions-warning-ink-contrast.test.ts: reads the kit value, still requires 4.5:1, and fails if a hard-coded or theme-specific override comes back. I checked that it fails with the old #99631f.
scripts/docs/readme-diagram-theme.mjs: the README diagrams read the kit's warning as is (#8a591c, the value they used to carry as a local override), so no SVG changes.
tests/unit/docs/readme-diagram-theme.test.ts: pins that value and keeps the contrast checks, with the same assertion count as the base.
Updated the Editions light-theme warning color to improve contrast against its backgrounds.
The vendored UI Kit advances to version 0.0.88 and upstream commit f7c79d0. Its Editions light-theme warning color changes, and a comment states the intended contrast ratio.

Explanation
The single reviewed commit has no Co-Authored-By trailer and no Generated with <AI tool> footer. The supplied PR body also contains neither prohibited form. The commit author being github-actions[bot] is not a prohibited co-author trailer.
Full details: Title check
Explanation
The title follows the Conventional Commits format with type "chore" and scope "dashboard". It names the main change, which syncs the vendored CI UI Kit to 0.0.89. The raw summary describes a sync to 0.0.88, but the PR description and the hand-edited section state that the branch now carries 0.0.89. The title therefore matches the description, though the summary and objectives still reference 0.0.88.
Full details: Tests For Production Code
Explanation
The PR changes production source at packages/ui-kit/src/ci-editions.css, changing --ci-color-warning from #99631f to #8c5a1b. The repository rule requires tests in the same PR for production changes under src/. The authoritative diff contains no test file or test update; it contains only metadata, lockfile, and UI-kit source changes.
Resolution
Add or update a test under tests/ that verifies the Editions warning color and its relevant theme/CSS behavior. Include that test in the PR and ensure the applicable test suite passes.
Full details: Description check
Explanation
The description fills most template sections. It has a Summary, a Before merge checklist, and a note on the hand-edited changes. It omits the template's Related Issues, Target Branch, Validation, Tests Added Or Updated, Coverage Notes, and Reviewer Notes sections. It also does not state the base branch or list the changed test files in the template's format. The hand-edited section does name the tests changed, which gives partial coverage of the test and validation items.
Resolution
Add the template sections that are missing: Related Issues (for example, Closes # or Related to #), Target Branch (confirm the base is the active release branch and not main), Validation (change type, focused tests, and whether npm run lint was run), Tests Added Or Updated (list the changed test files, which the hand-edited section names only partly), Coverage Notes (explain coverage for the src/ changes), and Reviewer Notes (call out the risky areas, such as the removed Editions override and the README diagram theme change).

… kit ships AA
Kit 0.0.88 (upstream #155) darkens the light Editions --ci-color-warning to #8c5a1b, the value #18919 had hard-coded in globals.css. --color-warning-ink stays as the alias that badges, warning buttons and text-warning read, now plainly the kit token, and the light-only override plus its prefers-color-scheme fallback are gone. The contrast test reads the kit value instead, checks that no hard-coded or theme-specific override comes back, and still fails if the kit's light Editions warning drops below 4.5:1 (checked by restoring #99631f).

…misses AA on surfaceMuted
The diagram theme test asserted the kit's light Editions warning was #99631f and below AA, so kit 0.0.88 (upstream #155, #8c5a1b) made it fail on purpose. The new kit value clears AA on the canvas, the surface and warnBg but is 4.46:1 on surfaceMuted, which the README diagrams also draw warn text on, so they keep #8a591c. The test now pins the kit value, keeps the override only while some diagram surface still misses AA, and requires 4.5:1 for the diagram value on all five light surfaces. No SVG changes.
…it's
The previous commit consolidated the diagram-theme warning test and dropped one assertion (86 -> 85), which check:test-masking flags. This adds a real one back: on surfaceMuted, the surface that still needs the override, the diagram warn must have more contrast than the kit warning, so the override can never turn into a lighter or unrelated colour.
…warning in the README diagrams
Kit 0.0.89 (upstream #157) keeps light warning text at AA on every content surface: Classic #a05600, Editions #8a591c. That is the value the README diagrams carried as a local override, so the diagram theme now reads the kit's warning as is in both schemes; the diagram-theme test pins it to ci-editions.css and still requires 4.5:1 on all five light surfaces. No SVG changes, since the colour is the same. The 0.0.88 changelog fragment becomes the 0.0.89 one.
