# Description
Argilla offers the ability to create and delete users but not the
ability to update a User object after it has been created. For example,
if we want to update the Role of a user after they have been created
(from annotator to admin for example), this is not possible without
deleting and recreating the User.

This PR adds an update endpoint to the FastAPI server and also the
convenience of doing this through the python sdk also

This PR fixes the problem by setting the ubuntu version to 22.04. The
`ubuntu-latest` (24.0) does not contain a proper compiled distribution
for those packages.

In some environments, working with enun instances as string values may
lead to some validation errors. See [this discord
discussion](https://discord.com/channels/879548962464493619/1300936213531983882/1300936213531983882).

This PR reviews how metadata settings classes are defined, and defines
type directly as a literal string, in the same way we do fo questions or
fields, instead of using the MetadataPropertyType class.
