@googlebot I signed it! |
We found a Contributor License Agreement for you (the sender of this pull request), but were unable to find agreements for all the commit author(s) or Co-authors. If you authored these, maybe you used a different email address in the git commits than was used to sign the CLA (login here to double check)? If these were authored by someone else, then they will need to sign a CLA as well, and confirm that they're okay with these being contributed to Google. ℹ️ Googlers: Go here for more info. |

All (the pull request submitter and all commit authors) CLAs are signed, but one or more commits were authored or co-authored by someone other than the pull request submitter. Running update twice sometimes was taking more than Jasmine's default timeout (5s).
Updating this timeout to 30s made this test suite a lot more stable.

Small fix on displaying versions sorted.
Hope someone can approve and merge this. |
For what it is worth. I applied this patch in one of our projects and it works great. BEFORE THIS PATCHnode_modules/protractor/node_modules/webdriver-manager/bin/webdriver-manager update --versions.chrome=91.0.4472.101 AFTER THIS PATCHnode_modules/protractor/node_modules/webdriver-manager/bin/webdriver-manager update --versions.chrome=91.0.4472.101 |
Yup bump, someone please merge this PR. |
Actually there is an issue with this, see my PR, https://github.com/andrevechina/webdriver-manager/pull/1. For those who want a quick fix I published a new npm package. Ugly workaround below. package.json postinstall script:
Also for context I have another script in package.json:
And I run it as such:
You should see the correct version of the chromedriver after this. |
Heya, apologies about the delayed response here. The Angular team has been preoccupied with other challenges lately and haven't been able to give Protractor and The PR here seems like a solid fix to a pretty clear bug and I don't have any concerns with merging it. Unfortunately, the repository is in a bit of an awkward state right now, as some CI actions aren't running and |
Issue:
While trying to download Chromedriver version
91.0.4472.101
, version91.0.4472.19
is being downloaded instead, because:91.0.4472.101
is listed before version91.0.4472.19
Proposed solution:
Update
getValidSemver
so it generates semver versions that include all 4 Chromedriver version numbers:<MAJOR>.<MINOR>.<BUILD>.<PATCH>
Chromedriver semver versions will always use the pre-release format:
<MAJOR>.<MINOR>.<BUILD>-patch.<PATCH>
Version precedence will include all 4 number as per:
Semantic Versioning 2.0.0 definition, section 11, sub-section 4
https://semver.org/#spec-item-11
Fixes:
#413
#496
