Pull request overview
Adds a conformance gate that detects fragile numeric claims and line references in repository prose.
Changes:
- Adds the prose scanner and unit tests.
- Registers scanning across workflows, guides, and
CLAUDE.mdfiles. - Rewrites existing fragile prose and marks deliberate exceptions.

- This matcher only handles number-first idioms. The post-change comment in
.github/workflows/security-txt-expiry.yml:86still says “these five always resolve,” so the same fragile host tally passes this new gate. Add a demonstrative-first form (for example, these|those|thefollowed byNUMBER) and rewrite that surviving sentence.

- The inline-code masker only recognizes single-backtick spans. Valid Markdown such as

- This noun allowlist omits several code-dependent counts already in scanned files: “five artifacts” (
bulma-ui/CLAUDE.md:20), “seven Agent Skills” (docs/docs/guides/llms/index.md:119), and “five icon libraries” (docs/docs/guides/getting-started/alternative-icons.md:9). As a result, the new gate passes while the counts it claims to prohibit remain. Expand the detection strategy and add these baseline cases to the tests.

"500 errors" is an inventory as often as a status, so the mask wants explicit HTTP context: a status word beside the number, or the protocol named. The one line that relied on the looser form says responses, which is what it meant. Comment state was computed before code state, so a marker inside a multi-line code span opened a comment and swallowed the prose after it. Code is stripped first, which knows a span opened earlier is still open; the reverse case masks a little more than needed, which the comment records.

Two passes failed open in both orders: comments first let a backtick inside a comment open a span, and code first let a span blank a comment's close, either way leaving a state open to end of file and hiding every violation after it. One pass now takes whichever delimiter comes first, so neither state can be entered from inside the other. That pass also ends an empty comment at its own terminator. Read as a generic opener, the abrupt forms never found a close and swallowed the rest of the file, which is the same fail-open shape. Both are regressions, along with a backtick inside a comment on one line and across several.
The cross-line lexer took both HTML comment terminators; the per-line mask beside it still knew only one, which is the regex the scanner flagged.

A bare comment terminator on its own line read to the security scanner like a hand-rolled HTML parser rather than test data, and it flagged the string as a comment filter that knows only one terminator. The fixture is one template string now; the module's own patterns already take both forms.

…the console wording MDX closes with a star-slash and then a brace that may sit after whitespace or a line break, but the closer required them adjacent, so a comment written across lines stayed open and hid the prose after it. The closer is two phases now, with the split form as a regression. The install guide says 404 errors again: the browser console reports failed requests as errors, and responses is what the Network panel shows. The line carries the marker, since the number there is a status rather than a tally.
